Margaret C Cowles
memorial #62445060
The above memorial is for "Mrs. Joseph Watson". Are you sure that her death year was 1945? Perhaps you made a typo, and it should have been 1925. I am looking for Jeanette (Janet) Smith who was the 2nd wife of Joseph Watson. They both died in Pickford, Chippewa co, MI. He was born in England in 1819 and died in 1895. She was born in Scotland in 1841 and died, as I stated, in 1925.

A photo of her stone would help, but I'm past my limit for the week! LOL Boy, how fast 20 requests happen!

Any help you can provide is appriciated.

Eliza (Leach) Welch
Did you get my email that I found where Eliza was born. I also found out Eliza never had any children. When she married Vine Welch in Cass Co., Mich. he was a widower with 3 children. Let me know if you need any other info or proof.

James Ray Coleman
Eliza (Leach) Welch birth
On Eliza birth you have her birth date right but could you please put her birth place. She was born December 11, 1817 in the city of Otsego and Otsego County, New York. I found her birth place in her obit in the Niles Daily Republican that gives her birth date and place. She married Vine Welch October 1, 1849 in Cass County, Michigan. Her grave number is 43593086.

Timothy Burke #414247730
Hi Cammy,

I have some information on Timothy's wife Matilda. She was born May 19, 1855 in Marion, Indiana. She passed on April 4, 1927 in Jackson, Michigan. Her full name is Matilda Fawalla Lytle. She is the daughter of William Lytle #79916625 and Lucinda Sidney Sherron Lytle #119880050. The reason why I know this is because William and Lucinda are my great-great-great-grandparents. Matilda was first married to a John J. Moore (1847-?), that is all the information I have on him. She then married Timothy Burke. Matilda already has a memorial that has been put in. It is 26793721. I thought this information would help in case you wanted to link Timothy to Matilda. I do not manage Matilda's memorial.

John Swartz Memorial #43227355
Hi Cammy,

I just have a question about some information you added to John Swartz' memorial(Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles, MI). You have him listed as a son of Peter Swartz and Rebecca Jones. May I ask where you found this information? Peter and Rebecca (Margaret) are my 4th ggrandparents and I have been unable to find concrete information on her maiden name. Thank you in advance for your help; it is much appreciated.

Just a note
I read your bio about not putting some info on and I feel you are wrong. I found out my great grandmother had cancer and went to my doctor to check. Sure enough I had the same kind of cancer & in the same place she had but caught it becasue I was able to find out in time. Also for history sake it is interesting and can make you feel thankful to know all the things that happened to your ancestor. Just my personnel feelings, Jan

Hi Cammy, do they have headstones at the Central State Hospital cemetery with names or unmarked? Trying to find information on a relative from a 1940 census as a inmate. Thank You Very Much!

Morbid Curiosity
Brown, Dorothy.
I see that you have a memorial for a Vera Brown, at the Old State School Cemetery. I found recently records for a Dorothy Brown, also from the State School. However, when Dorothy passed, she was interred in Oak Grove Cemetery. If these 2 are somehow related, Ill be more than glad to hand this one over to you.

Seeking Michigan
Hi Cammy,
I know we both used a great website, Seeking Michigan. Do you know if they've "improved" it recently? I can't seem to find it and the one that is there is next to impossible to navigate.
Just wondering,
Betty Frey

Mary Ann Irick #67967511
First of all, 'Thank You' for all your work. I to volunteer for Find A Grave and I know first hand how much work (or play, in my case) it is. My maiden name is Irick (Red53 #47800573) and I have been researching the 'Iricks' for quite some time. I am confused about the information you have on Mary Ann Irick. If I am reading it correctly you list her as a CHILD of William T and Amy Ray Irick. All of the information I have suggests she was William Thomas's wife. Can you tell me why you believe she was his daughter?
Thank you,

Scott McPherson
Duncan and Hector McKay
Hi Cammy, I took photos at Riverside Cemetery earlier this month for Donald McKay and his wife Hannah and two of their sons, Duncan and Hector. I see that you have created memorials for Duncan and Hector, complete with birth/death dates. Donald McKay and Hannah Cameron are my 2nd great grandparents, and I just created memorials for both of them. Are you related to this family? If not, would you mind transferring ownership to me so I can connect all the family? My # is 47721286.

James M. Jones
DOB is 1856 on findagrave, but I believe it was 1836, Strasburg, Shenandoah, Virginia. His first child was born in 1865, so I don't think he was born in 1856!!! I can't seem to change the info; can you?? Thanks, his gt-gt granddaughter

Was this your post?

I noticed your post on the Sizemores & wanted to ask if you have any info regarding them being Native Americans.
My 3rd g-grandmother is Frances Jane Sizemore Stumbo, g-gd of George All & Agnes. 3 generations of my family have told me she was Cherokee, but I can find no hard evidence. If you could share any, I would truly appreciate it!
Thanks & God bless,

Wm Harmon

Was wondering if you were related to William Harmon or how you are connected to the Harmon family? My 5th great grandfather is Wm Harmon's father...Adonijah Harmon. I have been trying to find out, for sure, who Adonijah's parents were. I have many tree names, but no proof.

Michelle Rowley-Welsch
RE: Rowley Family
Hi, Cammy - Yes, I saw that on the death certificate too. It is an error, or he was moved later, or something. May/Mae/Salome's side (Turcotte) of the family is buried at St. John's, and Jasper and May are with them in the same section (all next to each other). Charles Layher is there, too, but I didn't see it (I probably walked right by it!). We travel up to Jackson from Columbus about once a year, and always stop by St. John's. Not only is that side of my family there, but my Grandma and Grandpa Rowley (Bruce and Margaret) are there, and so are Grandma Margaret (Baker) Rowley's parents and sisters. Thanks for all of your efforts with this. It is so great to see these, especially as I can't visit regularly.

Thanks, Cammy. So, are these all people in your family tree? Is your tree up on ancestry? Maybe we're related? Chris
