Memorial #82700616
Re Hannah Backus Bingham Tracy Grisold

The narrative states she m. Daniel Tracy 3/4/1711. The Backus biography states 1711/1712 and actually 1712 would be correct. Daniel Tracy's first wife, Abigail Adgate, didn't die until 9/3/1711. Thanks.

RE: Tenney-Lewis family
would love that. I've only been doing gene for about 8 mo but found I actually love it. Send me an email all you want to. The more I learn the better it is.

I have a project I'm about to start of the Angell family of the Foote or Young, I'm not sure, but this book goes back to like colonial New Jersey. It ought to be fun. But also doing spring yard clean up and that will take a while to get caught up on.

Chat with ya later.

RE: Mary Caufield Tenney Lewis McClendon
Hello, I'm Linda Barnard. And yes, I am a member of your family but about 5 generations back. William Ewing Young was my great great grandfather. Coming down the line on the Foote side. I've been in genealogy for about 7 months and really enjoying it. I'm just now working on the Tenney, Lewis, McClendon's. Thanks for sending me a note. It's kinda cool to think that I've got so many relatives out there that I have never heard of. That's why I love this. If I've made a mistake on this, just let me know. I would really like to get this correct.

I live in Gatesville, right next to Turnersville, where the Youngs started in Texas. Went to see the old home place last summer and saw the graves where the Youngs are buried and the crumbling old house. Actually, I grew up right next door to where they were. Picked up a rock to the original house. I wanted that rock to say that I'd been there. Cool.

Thanks again,
Linda

Marcus and Nora Brunson
Hi, I also like the idea of an online virtual family reunion, I just wonder who will bring the potato salad!

I connected your uncle Mark Brunson to his parents. I am so thrilled that informed me so I could connect them! I have found over 1,700 WWI vets buried in Tucson. There is a Facebook page called "the Great War Doughboy Search, Tucson and WWI." This project is to honor the WWI veterans for the Centenary. I would love it if you would "like" the page. I will post a photo of the grave marker on the page with the information I find on him when I research him. By any chance do you know anything about his WWI service? Do you have any photos of Marcus?

My email is scarberja@hotmail.com

RE: Jesse Tenney
I do, am on there Face book page, and have looked at the web site. You can access the Tenney Family book and the Pomeroy Family book online @ Archive.org it is a free site .Another Genealogist referred it to me, it have been very helpful. Although my Grandma sister LaDonna English has been doing this side for over 20 years and has compiled many books about our Family, she has done great work, filled with pictures and document and Letter from Eliza and other Family member's.

Yes Mary "Polly" Tenney is my 5th Great Grandmother, through her her son Elijah Isaac, then through his youngest child Harriet, then through her daughter with Joseph Drinnin Eliza Jane, then through my Great grandma Adele, then my Grandma Elizabeth and my Dad Lawrence.

I appreciate you contacting me !! :-)

You are Very welcome. I also like to see family linked together. That is how I found so many of my relatives while I was working on my family tree. I am working on Woodmen Cemetery now in DeKalb and very few of the people are linked. LOL If I can help further, just let me know.

JudiT
Huntingtons
Hi,

I saw you mention the genealogy for the Huntingtons on another profile in connection with Susannah Huntington Griswold. I've been piecing together the Huntington/Burbridge connection that starts with Thomas Huntington Jr in the same book. His wife, Mary Newport Burbridge was my 5th great aunt. If information on this line would be of interest to you, please let me know. OldPaperVault on eBay has an original letter written by Thomas Jr to his son Erastus. It's very cool and filled in (or otherwise proves) a missing Burbridge link for me dating to the early 1800's. Just thought I'd mention it although your profile doesn't mention Huntingtons as a surname for you. All the best, Judi

Geneva Johnson
Watson Family
I haven't done a lot of research yet but I go back to John & Sarah Watson in Abarmarle Co, VA in the early 1800's. They had 9 children, one of which was my g-g-grandfather Joab-who married Elizabeth Robinson in Bond Co IL in 1828. My Joab came to TX & settled in what is now the Dallas area before July, 1848 as part of Peter's Colony. Please e-mail me if any of this is familiar or ties in to your family.
Thanks--

John Beckstein
Susannah Griswold
Hi
Just want to verify marriage/birth:

"She married Samuel Griswold on Dec. 10, 1685 in Conn.
Susannah & Samuel had the following children:
Francis Griswold born Sept. 9, 1681; died April 10, 1760-Norwich, Conn....."

Is the birth date of Francis correct?
Born before marriage?

Please advise.

John
