Just a little request please. Harry Sawdy was a small child with no connection that I can find. Could there be a record of whom purchased the plot 40-A 7 he is buried on? If you might look it up, it surely would be greatly appreciated.

Rverside Cemetery
I have asked for pictures at this cemetery a few days ago and now see several people have asked for pictures so I thought that I would contact you as you are the one that set up the memorials I need pictures of as they are related as he is the son of my 2X great grandfather. Could you or would you get pictures of Eugene Bowers#39835099 and his wife Mary Jane Bowers #39835100 and maybe transfer them to me.

Sherry, I'm back again, and this time as asking that you refer to this memorial and help me add her parents to the memorial, this will then link her to several other generations already online. You can transfer it to me, or I'll provide the infomation, and you can do it if you agree. As in the past, I thank you for your work.

Bickell Family
Sherry, thank you so much for your effort in posting these family members. Eva would be my Great Aunt, her father Alfred Rogers, was a Civil War Veteran and lived near Eden Valley, Mn. If you would like to transfer this family, incl. Eva, Elisha Edward, Etta Jennie, Charles H. and Child to me, I will do my best to maintain. I may make a request for photo's where they are available. Again, thanks for all the good work.

McDougalls in Royalton Cemetery
Hi Sherry,

I am related to many of the McDougalls in this cemetery and was wondering how to obtain any obituaries, specifically any between the late 1880s and early 1900s. I don't live in the U.S so I assume I cannot get the microfilms sent to a library near me. Do you know of any other options?

RE: Brockways - Riverside Cemetery
Dear Sherry,
Thank you kindly. I would very much appreciate the obituaries that you have on hand. Yesterday, I ordered three Royalton Banner microfilms via interlibrary loan from this historical society to our small town library. I look forward to their arrival.

Any step that enables me to accurately record decedant information is worth taking. As secretary, if you had interment records, I would appreciate knowing so I can cite them properly as sources. My email is

I very much appreciate the level of detail you have provided. The MHS is lucky to have you.

Brockways - Riverside Cemetery
Hello Sherry Duevell,
Greetings! A few things:

I probably should have looked at your bio first before making inquires to Morrison County Historial Society & the Royalton City Hall in search of Riverside Cemetery's interment records. Lo and Behold, your the secretary!

Thank you for your detailed work on behalf of the Brockway family interred at Riverside Cemetery. Were you able to utalize interment records for much of the data?

If available to transfer, I would like to manage the Brockway family at Riverside Cemetery.

Finally, while I have requested photos of all 10 Brockway tombstones; I would like your permission to utalize your name for your photo of Edwin R. Brockway's tombstone. I realize it is a public record but your name will be utalized as a source of that picture in my book, "Genealogy Of The Treakle And Allied Families of Ohio" due out in the Fall of 2012.

Kind regards,
Althea Treakle-Provost

RE: Esther Gregory
I did go and walk the whole cemetery about a year & a half ago and didn't see a marker for Esther. I had thought I would photograph the marker if I found it. I live north of Minneapolis, but might be able to get there sometime when the weather is tolerable to locate the gravesite.

Also, I did obtain pdf copies of the obits for Henry & Polly Randall and have added them to the Find-A-Grave file for Riverside. That was my father that the previous info you had came from. He was working on some of that shortly before he died, and I never knew what all he found, so I wound up redoing some of it.

I did find the markers for Zed & Florence Miner, who are sister and brother in law to Esther Gregory.

Thank you!

RE: Dragoo
I think I will leave them under your name for the time being. I tried one other time to add a picture to a Find A Grave site & it wouldn't take the picture because it was too large. Right now I don't know how to change the picture size. If I send a couple of pictures for William's site, will you be able to change their size & put them up?

RE: Dragoo
Thanks for your response. If you want to transfer William & Sarah Dragoo to me, that would be fine. I'm just not sure what that means, so maybe you should clue me in first! I think we can find our way to the cemetery this time. Last time, we met Doug Lupke & he showed us the way. Do you have a # where we could reach you, if we need help?

Added by Donna Barnickol on Apr 21, 2011 5:59 PM

Not sure that you remember me. Willim Dragoo was my grandfather & we corresponded several years ago about the Dragoo/Garver families. I have pictures of William & Sarah's grave & will try to add them to the site. We were in MN in 6/2009 doing family research & will be there again this June doing more. I just made the contribution to keep this page ad free.

Adams Brothers - Civil War
Hi Sherry,

Thank you for transferring the 3 Adams brothers memorials; this will make updates so much easier.

I have completed the biographies with the information known at this time, if you'd like to see them:

I placed photo requests for their memorials. Apparently, there were 5 Adams brothers who served in the Civil War. Hopefully we can identify the other two as well.

Thank you for documenting the Riverside Cemetery records on Find A Grave.
