The same thing has happened to me over and over again. Or the first and middle names are reversed and I miss that, too. I probably have the record for creating the most duplicates, but like you, if someone points them out to me I'll delete them. Now some people won't. Then sometimes both get linked to the parent and it get's messy... Thanks for understanding. Have a blessed day!

As requested I have transferred his memorial to you.

Also just a note, I have relatives that was also in Atrim Ireland, yet they originated in Scotland and migrated to Ireland, and the Ireland people would not tolerate them there, because of there religious beliefs, so then from there they sailed to So. Carolina on 5 different ships.

Good luck with your searches.

RE: John Reed headstone
I don't have any other pictures from nearby. I seem to remember another stone, that was very hard to read. I'll check next time I go there.

There are some other Reeds, not too far away, but I don't know if they are related - different plot. They are Ferris (1919-1923), Christine (1911-1928), and a double stone with Nero (1867-1949) & Nora Sheheen Reed (1880-1958). These are all in the same plot.

RE: John Reed headstone
Not sure which John Reed you're referring to without the memorial number. I've created 4 memorials to different John Reeds and none of them have photographs that I've added. If it's one of these, you'll need to contact the owner of the photograph.

RE: contact on a memorial
When you lose a daughter of only 29 years of age, two days before Christmas, it is very hard to be active in anything.
Please resend any request, and or message.

He continues to add memorials, but will not respond to any requests for links or adding information. So frustrating to those of us who are trying to add information, etc. Thought you'd want to know. Fran

RE: Ragsdale cousin
"Do you know the story on this marriage?" No, do tell!

My line ... you can start with my mother, Coeta Ragsdale Hall, memorial # 48980873, and work your way back directly through the Ragsdale's to Godfrey (who emigrated to America and was killed in the 1644 massacre).

RE: Ragsdale cousin
Always nice to meet new cousins, no matter how distant the relationship. Do you mean Amelia Ragsdale who married W. H. Beckham? I don't have parents for her in my database. Are you sure she is the granddaughter of William Ragsdale & Ann Parker? If you would provide parents for her, I'll link her in my database. I love adding new Ragsdale information and connecting the dots.

No, I've never done the DNA testing. My Uncle Rags refuses to as he always says the Ragsdales were a bunch not to be proud of. I just write it off as being bitter for some unknown reason.

Thanks for writing and I look forward to sharing genealogy goodies with you.

RE: Till Blake parents
No I am not related to the Ragsdales. Willie Ragsdale died as a ten year old child here in Richburg S.C.. His father Charles was a school teacher here at the time. Willie was the first person buried in a new section of Union ARP Church cemetery. The Ragsdale family was from the Rossville section of Chester County. They Married into Thorne family which I am related to. Pull up Union ARP Church Cemetery and look at Ragsdale name and you will find Eliza and Eulalee who were Burr Ragsdales children. Also look at 72413277 and Charles is linked to his Ragsdale parents. found Halley Blake but could not find Mrs Claude Bell or Dan Cunningham.who were children of 64563571 also check out 61965436 and 61965249 I have asked for them to be linked to their parents Charles and Mary Elizabeth Stevenson Ragsdale. The Ragsdale were a old family in our area and related to many families here in Chester County.

Wrong Cemetery
Hi, I happened to notice your message to Jim Hawkins about the incorrect memorial placement. Well..I have had the same problem with him and have asked him to correct several memorials and he has totally ignored my requests to do so. I know that he has got the messages because he actually did make a couple minor corrections on other memorials. Why will he not fix the memorials he puts in the wrong cemetery! That is the most important part of the memorial..He is a real jerk. What I suggest so others dont get confused is to place a virtual flower on the memorial stating it is in the wrong cemetery and give the correct cemetery information. It is slightly bending the rules... but it will help others.

Curry, I didn't make the links to her husband from my memorial, so I can't remove them. Anything else on the memorial I created, I will gladly correct. Polly.
