RE: John Gilmore
Hi Ron,

Looks like we've got a 'cast of Gilmore characters' in this cemetery. I will create records for all but Robert McLean Gilmore. I know the relationship of all of the other names to John Gilmore 'Father', but I don't know Robert. If you know the relationship between Robert and the others, please let me know.

I will work on this tonight and as soon as I have record numbers for each, I will forward them along to you.

Thank you again for taking the time to photograph my 'old dead relatives'!!!

RE: John H. Gilmore
Thanks Ron,

I'm in no rush, so please do this when its convenient for you.

John is my great, great grandfather, on my father's mother's side of the family. I'm hopeful that since he died in 1926, his gravestone will still be in good shape.

He had three wives in his lifetime, so if you see the headstone for a woman named "Rebecca Mary Empson Gilmore", or any variation of this name, I would appreciate a photo of that headstone as well. I have no proof that she is buried there, but who knows! She died in 1883.

Thanks Again,
Jennifer Steckley

I searched and can't find it, I can get it when I get to the Clearfield Historical Society, when it opens in May.

RE: Harmony Cemetery
started thinking about it again. this might be easier. if you enter through the stone archway, go straight to last roadway, take a left and grave will be on your left hand side if I remember correctly.

RE: Harmony Cemetery
Hi Ron, I tried to call the number that was posted at the cemetery when I went searching but if I remember right it was no longer in service. It is larger than I really like to do searching in, but will be again someday here. If you enter through the stone archway the clees headstone was at the opposite end. If you are on the last little roadway in the cemetery at the opposite end heading right to left the headstone would be just off a little ways on your left and is visible from the roadway. Hope that makes sense. The cemetery can be searched fairly well in about half of a day I think; with 2 people should go quicker.

Sorry I missed that. I do a lot of posting way past my bed time, probably just too tired. What do you know about the Gardner family? I have a lot of information, my grandmother was Laura Gardner (daughter of Stitzel & C Louisa(Moser) Gardner. Anna Blanche was the daughter of Richard (brother of Stitzel) & Sara Ann Ellis. Are you Ernest & Gertrude's son??
