Mary Vines
Ed,
I spent just a few minutes in Swedish Lutheran Cemetery but I did walk through the entire Cemetery. I was unable to find any more Vines.
I do hope you enjoy the pictures for Mary.

Regards
DDM

kezer cemetery, faifax vt
i was going to fairfax today and i looked up kezer cemetery.

i know where rainville farm is and also the georgia town line but what i can find online suggests there are only fragments of stones and none can be identified. there is a limited listing of graves transcribed from file cards.

RE: Thank you!
You are most welcome. The inscriptions were difficult to read due to weathering, but I hope you were able to decipher enough information for your research.

Center Cemetery Chesterfield
Ed, I will see if I can get some photos this weekend to post for you. You might also be interested in another site on rootsweb. If you google "Cemeteries of Chesterfield" you should find it. The site has pictures of all headstones in the Center Cemetery as of Sept 2007. The Darlings seem to be in what they call Section C.

I didn't pay much attention to their birth dates etc but do remember the infant as 1962.

Daniel Frederick Keefauver is my Grandmother
Minnich's brother. My family tree is available at www.rootsweb.com. If you can fill-in any gaps in that tree, I would appreciate it very much.

RE: Keefauver Photos
Hi Ed,

Are you related to the Keefauvers? You may be referring to John F. Keefauver's photos. His Civil War photo came from Katherine Grosh's tin type that she copied for me. I have the original pictures for the other two photos of JFK.

I'm glad the photos helped you.

Aaron Davis
Isaac Davis
Mr McDermott,
My name is Aaron Davis. I am the great grandson of Isaac Newton Davis. I was wondering if you wanted to share information. I have been unable to trace this side of my family back past Isaac. I have a decent amount of information on him in general, but no listing of parents, siblings etc. For some reason the trail ends at him.
Anything you would be able or willing to share with me would be great.

For my part....... Isaac Newton Davis married Mary A Barrett around 1887 and had Geroge Reece Davis in 1886 he married Esther Jean Evenson and had Robert Lee Davis in 1938, my father.

any connections to other family member and traces of our mutual heritage would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Aaron Davis

Margaret A. (Davis) Wier

Hi Ed,

Unfortunately, our family seems to have no information regarding the Davis family other than what I have already shared. My husband's Aunt, Mrs. Thomas Elzie (Mildred) Wier, compiled most of the information we have concerning Thomas Andrew and Margaret Wier, and also appears to be the guardian of the older family photos. I will see if she knows of any photos of the Davis family other than the one of Margaret I posted on FindaGrave. With no information on the Davis family, her research has been limited to the paternal (Wier) side of the family with the exception of Thomas and Margaret's son, Thomas Newton Andrew Wier, and his wife, Margaret "Maggie" Myrtle Britton. I'm not sure if she is planning on expanding any farther or not. What little time I have spent on genealogy has been spent mainly on my maternal family. My Mom's mother was a Smith who married an unrelated Smith you can imagine how difficult that job is. Since I have a cousin who has done a very thorough job at researching my paternal side (Vermillion), I do intend to make research of my husband's family my next project, probably beginning where Mildred has left off. I'm sure your family tree would be a big help at that time. You may reach me on FindaGrave or my email is apbr49@msn.com. If I locate any photos or find additional information on the Davis family I will be sure to let you know.

By the way, my husband asked me to tell you "Rangers lead the way!" He's a veteran of the 75th Ranger Infantry Regiment (Airborne).

Thank You, Ed
Hi Ed..
Thank you very much for the very nice photo of the Theodesia Darling headstone! Perhaps your original photo is a larger file than Findagrave permits and you can read it better than I can. Does it say that she died in 1857, aged 79 years? Just want to make sure so I put the right info. on the memorial.

RE: Hello
Hello Ed,
I live in Lyons and am home only on weekends. I will try to get to Decatur and Tekamah, but it will take awhile.
I have a suggestion for Hillcrest in Decatur. You could contact a person at blplek@yahoo.com. He has been entering pictures for Hillcrest. I do not know if he has done the whole cemetery. His pictures are entered on nebraskagravestones.com
Since you have posted a request he may send you a picture if he has one. He does not enter much on Find A Grave.
I will try to look in Lyons this weekend, unless we have rain all weekend like we did this past one :(
Julie Drummond Beck was a cousin thru my step-grandmother. Didn't really know her or Clark.
