Hi! This is my gggreat-uncle. Wondering if you would be willing to transfer this memorial, as I'm trying to link the family? If not, would you be willing to add links & bio? Thanks!

Rich, you are very welcome. Missouri is the only state I have found that let's you can view and print death certificates free of charge (1910 to 1963, they add another year each year).
I see that you have a special interest in the Civil War. I would appreciate any info you could give me to research someone. My great great grandfather, James Robinson, died in the Civil War but I don't know where or any other info about him except that he was born in 1824, married in Indiana on May 28, 1845 to Sarah Ann McConnell and that they were still in Indiana in 1853. I do know that Sarah and the children were in Missouri in 1870, but don't know when they came here and if James was with them when they did. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Kathy
The website for death certificates is sos.mo.gov/archives

Hello, you have a Michigan Civil War picture under his memorial - Find A Grave Memorial# 95043576. I'm not aware of him having served in the Civil War. He was from Canada and was having children there from 1863-1871 at least. Wondering why you think he was in Company D, 6th Michigan Calvary?? Am I missing something here?? Thanks :)

You have a special niche here on Find a Grave with the work you do to honor the Vets. I applaud your efforts Richard to honor them for the hardships they endured as our country was torn apart. Keep it up! It's greatly appreciated!

You have set up a beautiful Memorial for my husbands 3x great grandfather. In case you would like to link any family members to William. His wife's name Pheobe J (Fowler) Rainey they had 7 children. I could send you their names with their birth and death dates. One of William sons was named Orin Vance Rainey, Orin had two sons one was named Claud and one of Claud's sons was named Clyde Rainey and this is my father in law. My husband name is Rodger he is the eldest of 3 sons. I am a new member of find a grave. I did not want to request to manage this as I see you are creating a memorial for Military. Thank you for all your hard work.

Got your suggestion about a possible dupe. The records show 2 plot numbers, different death years and 2 wives. So I'm thinking 2 different men with same name. Unless you have additional information, I'll leave it for now.
Don't hesitate to send any other questionable ones, there are many errors in the cemetery records and I appreciate any help cleaning things up.

Just wanted to say thank you for creating this Memorial page. My gg-grandfather served in Co.D 2nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry. He survived the war, but in researching these men, it seems that many were truly "lost". I have just added Sgt. Levi Debolt to the Fredericksburg National Cemetery. I know how much research it takes. Nice job!

Thank you so much for your great photos of Wm and his ancestors and daughter as you posted on the page for him. Nice work and very interesting-he certainly fought his way and survived the German captures too.
Thank you for permission to further copy his pics so I can add them to his ancestry.com page. I will look up his daughter and see if I can give her further info.
I appreciate your time on this as well.
