Hi There... Just wanted to let you know that I found the grave stone for Charles Gammons. While I was at it, I photo'd all the names on the stone, researched their relationship, and added them to F.A.G. and linked them. (Edith Tower Gammons was his wife, they had a son Donald, and I posted Edith's parents, Edward Tower and Charlotte Bates Tower and two more of their children, Henry and Edward).

My friend and I visited Mt. Auburn Cemetery this past week and, according to the staff there, they have no such person interred there.

Since there's no million dollar prize, let's just let ride. The important thing is to get the pics where they belong, not who puts them there. If there's any thing I can do to help you out, let me know. Bert

Sorry for posting the wrong photo. I have taken it down. I can not find any info for a location for her grave at Locust Hill Cemetery. If I could find the location of the Toelke's I would find her there.
Added by Bill Schraeder on Mar 03, 2011 9:36 PM
I think adding that info to your photo request is a GREAT idea; however, I did not see any plot/section markings in that cemetery anywhere. Someone would probably need to visit City Hall, or wherever the cemetery records are kept, to know the layout of the plots.
I am so bummed I couldn't find his grave; he has such a neat story. I love that he was the oldest citizen of Wall in 1950; he should have a very special place of honor in that cemetery for that alone! :)
I will check back in a few weeks to see if your request has been filled; I may go back up there on a weekday when I can visit City Hall.

Thank you for checking. Death cert shows she was buried there. Maybe there is no marker?

|Jill||Blue Grass Church Cemetery-Craft stone|
I just returned from Blue Grass Church Cemetery (Vanderbugh Co. Indiana). I took some pictures that are probably Lucille and William Craft--they're next to the Craft stone that's already pictured. If you'll e-mail me, I'll send you the files and the info I got from the trustee/caretaker who just happened to be there at the time. Then if you feel they're the right stones, you can enter them.

I would like that. Thank you. You can contact me at email@example.com

The photo has been posted to the right person this time. If you want the original, full size picture, I will send it. Just give me your e-mail address. Remember to click on the picture to see it enlarged. I'll remove flowers in front of the names next time I take a picture. Sorry.

Thank you! for the additional info. I really appreciate it.
The only one of his wives I have info on was Lavina, would you happen to have any more info on his other wives, Susan Jane Madden & Margaret Gray.

Sorry for the mistake. There were so many flowers and angels on this stone, I didn't realize it wasn't James Volz. I saw a "J" and drew the conclusion it was the right one. I have deleted it from the memorial and will post again when you make a new memorial.
Added by Banburn on Jul 22, 2009 7:39 AM
While filling a photo request at the Mayo Cemetery, I also took a front and back picture of the Volz headstone. Sorry that all the flowers covered up much of the detail but hated to remove them. Let me know if you would like a full size picture for your files.
