Riverside Cemetery - Stuart
There is a listing in this cemetery for a "Stuart" with no further information. Based on a newspaper article, I would like to propose that this could be the resting site of Alfred R. Stuart. See article below:

EVENING LEADER CORNING, N.Y. WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 1928 PAGE 3
VICINITY DEATHS - SAVONA

ALFRED STEWART
FEB. 15 The funeral of Alfred Stewart was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fairfield, of this place, Saturday, February 11. The Rev. W.E. Harris officiated. Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery at Campbell.

Mr. Stewart was a former resident of Savona. He had resided with his son, Eugene Stewart, at Killbuck, Pa. several years where he passed away. He was about 76 years of age and is survived by one son, Eugene Stewart, of Killbuck, Pa., and several grandchildren.

Hope this message is in the correct place and that it is not too long.

RE: Asking
"No good deed goes unpunished?" And they didn't want you to know who they were? (You can find a lot of info when you get into the properties of an email) SS #s can be found almost anywhere anymore, Ancestry.com, FamilySearch.com, so they have a lot of people to write to, and unscrupulous people can find anything. You just never know, you think you're doing a good thing, but not everyone agrees.

You're welcome. I hear from very few people anymore, and my thought is if someone can't take the time to say thank you, then they didn't want the photo that bad so it's like I wasted my time. Sometimes I'm tempted to remove it, but realize there are other relatives or people that would be interested.

Thanks Dave! I would be interested if you are willing to share any documentation that would support your research. Or if you point me in the right direction that would lead me to your conclusions I would be very grateful! I appreciate your hard work! I have a distant cousin also through this line that has also been working on this tree and we both are at odds as to who his father has been. I have contacted others and they have told me that this is what other people have on their tree, but nothing more than that.

Thanks again!

Regards,
Pat

Hi Dave - I have a question on the parentage shown in the bio for William Rial Stevens, Sr. I have been trying to find documentation to support who the parents were. Could you tell me what source you used? Thanks so much for the excellent picture!
