I am curious if you know when the new memorial marker was placed for John Calvin Rice? I have a picture I took of the original marker and it has his birth date listed as Oct. 11, 1832. The death date is the same. I am guessing the original headstone had it correct and this newer one is incorrect. Looking for any information you can provide. Thanks,
Anita - JC Rice's Great, Great, Great Granddaughter

|Alicia (Pack) T.||40973304 and 107338175 (George and Nancy Wilson)|
I saw that you were the one who created George Wilson's findagrave page (40973304). I was wondering if you had any further information on him. I have an ancestor, George Silas Wilson, who was born in North Carolina in 1815 and died at Alread, Van Buren County, AR in 1913. He was married to Nancy Bryant (b. 1830 d. 1910). She also died in Van Buren Co., AR according to records found on ancestry.com. I'm wondering if the George and Nancy Wilson on here are the same ones who would be my 4th great grandparents. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry should have proof read a little more. Copied it off my ancestry story view and it had changed the county to just Searcy and don't know where in the world it got North Carolina. Since I had it all entered right I had figured the story view would be right. So got it all changed and corrected.
When Millie Catherine Martin was born on October 31, 1874, in Arkansas, her father, Willam, was 26 and her mother, Margaret, was 23. She married Robert Perry Massey on September 26, 1891, in Searcy County, Arkansas. She had five children by the time she was 22. She died as a young mother on August 30, 1899, in Searcy County, Arkansas at the age of 24, and was buried in Landis Cemetary.

Daisy was born in 1914 according to the 1940 Searcy Co Arkansas census, so yes that agrees with the date on the headstone you found. Please post the picture and I will notify the person who created the memorial.
Thanks for your efforts.

Thanks Dan for the info. I have added it to the cemetery record for John. I also noted there was a virtual marker for a Foster McGuire in Pine Cemetery. Is this his son? I can link them together if that's the case. Just let me know.

|T Taylor||Jonathan Ruff Hall Cemetery|
I have been to the Hall cemetery three times now. The first time in a grand marquis and as you said, roads are a little ruff from Snowball. I drove a yukon the last two times. It is beautiful in that area. They are having a decoration day July 6. My Dad wants to put out markers but wants to verify locations. He died over 150 years ago and the sandstone markers are hard to read. Any information you have is appreciated.
