Guess I made a mistake on the Joseph Butler...the memorial page says d 19 Dec 1739...and I did Joseph Butler d 12 Dec 1732...will have to see if there is another...

I found the gravestone of Joseph Butler d 1732. There is a newer gravestone that has been erected with the original wording..so I photographed that and also took photos of the old gravestone which is quite worn.

Milford Cemetery old section was surveyed in 1943 and re-surveyed in 2001. There is a map and alphabetical index of all remaining tombstones. This grave is not on the map/index. This does not mean the person is not buried here, but that there is no tombstone remaining. The picture posted is the map/index.

|KC||Williams in Old Trumbull Cemetery in Lebanon, CT|
I just filled two of your photo requests at Old Trumbull Cemetery in Lebanon, CT (Thomas and Rebecca Williams), also their infant daughter (d. 1782) & one for Solomon and Mary's son Solomon Williams (d.1743). Also added one for Dr Solomon's monument.
Question for you..Mary Porter Williams is on Solomon's monument and it's really hard to take a photo of the top of that flat monument (size, height, sun), plus the last time I was there, it was covered with blocks and a hard piece of plastic (not sure why). However, I do have a photo of the top from 2010, taken from a bizarre angle because of the angle of the sun and the height of the marker, but it's not the greatest...I could post that temporarily along with a photo of the whole monument if you want and then try to get a better one at a later time. There's only a couple of us who go out there, so it could be a while otherwise...please let me know - I didn't want to post without checking with you first.

You're very welcome. I really enjoy putting together a true memorial page rather than just a photo of a tombstone. And I like the requester to have a feel for actually being there especially when I see that there is an entire family together. Glad you liked them

You're welcome. I will be posting photos for Anna and Ezekiel Williams also.

There is no marker for Miles Williams, there are only a handful of stones left in Leatherwood Cemetery. I was going to let you know this, but loaded the photo before realizing I didn't have your email to let you know! Guess I should have contacted you first, but the photo is the cemetery area where he is buried. Sorry

Hi Art, do you have any reason to think that this is not Sarah Pairson Meeker? There is a photo of her headstone indicating that she died in 1737.

Noticed your thanks for that excellent photo of his headstone; I just obtained the photographer's permission to re-post that photo with his memorial on the Sons of the American Revolution Patriot Index, which you may review at http://patriot.sar.org (Ancestor #P-320527). I've made updates there which do not yet appear.
I'm a volunteer working on corrections and additions to this Index.
Comments, suggestions, corrections welcome ...
I see Arthur H. Williams in the SAR member database??

You are most welcome. When I went to the cemetery I didn't expect to find the stone. The older graves in this cemetery are well documented and those who are not usually cannot be located. Did research before I went over there to get a sense of who was interred nearby. Let me know if you need anything else in this area.

You are welcome. I know that they are hard to read but, there was nothing that I could do to clean them up. The older stones in Holland Patent are always a challenge to read.

I am glad to be of help. I also found a tombstone for James and Jane's son. His name was James. He died July 20, 1847. Age 1 year 4 months. I did take a photo. If you are interested please let me know where to email it or if you would want to make a memorial I could upload it tomorrow. I am at my limit for uploads.

|Julie ||Williams at Mt Lebanon|
Hi Mr Williams, I am a member of Mt Lebanon Baptist Church in Greer. I have walked the entire cemetary twice this weekend looking for the grave sites of General, Clinton, and Callie Williams. I can not find them. I am going to go and speak with the church secretary later this week and see if she can help me locate them. Our church has had 2 fires so it may be that their information was lost in one of the fires. Just wanted you to know that I am working on it. Hopefully soon I will have you some pics. Thanks
