Theodore and Earl V. Layton
Hi Leslie,
I noticed you have alot of Layton's you research and I was wondering if you know anything about this line. Earl V Layton was my great grandfather (Theodore was his father) and he sort of dropped off the earth somewhere. Do you have any information on them?

Thanks in advance,
Mary

RE: are we related
Hi Leslie thanks for the great information and its really great to find another family member. Do you think William Layton or Lawton is buried in this cemetery. I've been trying to connect some of the Layton's in this area of PA and NY. I've found a Jeremiah Layton in Salamanca NY that you left a note for memorial#7531646 are you related to this Layton. My linage goes from Asher Layton to William Layton and Mary Holmes to Samuel Layton and Janet Oliphant to William Layton or Lawton. Ill let you go for know, your long lost cousin Michael Layton. PS. I'm not yet a member of your genealogy organization you mentioned. Thanks Mike

are we related
Leslie, my name is Michael Layton from Portville, NY. My family came from Bedford and Fulton Co.PA. The earliest Layton to move into that area was Asher Layton born 1823 Monmouth Co, NJ. Asher Layton's GGGrandfather was William Lawton, arrived RI 1634 with father and signed Monmouth, NJ patent 1638. William Lawton used the last name spelled Layton and in his will spelled Lawton, all or most relatives used Layton. My question is are you and we all related threw this first William Layton. Sincerely Michael Layton

Tunis Layton
FINALLY found him. Stone face up, broken at top and half buried in the dirt. I found him by counting over the plot numbers and raking away leaves and dirt when i saw a piece of stone under the dirt, in the right plot! Never thought I'd find him, and if the grass was green, probably wouldn't. Wahoo, whittling away on your requests!

Loihle
Sir, when I went to photograph Master Chief Loihle's grave today I stumbled across two other Loihle's and photographed them too. I was not sure of Master Chief's relationship to you, but after seeing your profile and his I'm guessing you were shipmates... so, the other guys probably are of no interest :0

But, on the off chance you knew them their findagrave profiles are 57593299 & 57593244

Daphne's husband is buried next to her, if you would like to create a memorial for him, please do and let me know so I can post the photos I took. If you would prefer that I just create a memorial for him myself, that's fine too. Just let me know.

His stone reads:
