RE: Laura Winterowd
Judy,
I entered all the Winterowd's that were on the listing. That would be all I know.

Hi Judy,
Please look at 139190907. I think it may be the Laura in the obit. What do you think? Thank you.

RE: Clingermans
I am helping my 86 year old uncle research his family. He is related to Herndon. Do you happen to have any more pictures of him and his kids? Thank you, Belle

Clingermans
Hi Judy-
I was wondering if you are related to Herndon Clingerman? I saw the picture that you posted of him and his wife. Was that from you or posted from someone else?

Thank you,

Belle Peterson

RE: Addie Canfied Essen
Interesting, as Addie's brother, William, is listed on the 1860 U.S. Census, as 1857, with Addie listed as 1856 (again) ... Regards, David

RE: Harm mennenga
Hi Judy,
Thank you for your prompt response! I took a picture of the certificate of naturalization; however, my computer is not letting me send the attachment for some reason. Do you have any suggestions?

I have a couple of other updates that I will send to you. Also, I will talk to my mother to find out any information she might remember about Hazel (Mennenga) Bleeker. I remember hearing your grandmother's name from time-to-time.

You're doing an excellent job on all of your research. It's been so interesting reading about my family's history.

Thanks so much

OK...just checking and wanting to help. The stone leaves something to the imagination and I thought it was possible. Glad you were able to check.

Marilyn London Winton
Ruth Good Priest's sister Elizabeth
I am researching Elizabeth Good Courtier in Jefferson and Marion Cos., Iowa. Ruth Good Priest's obit led me to the correct roots for the Good family in Cambria (not Camby) Co., PA., an early Swiss Mennonite family. Ruth's mother was Ann or Anna "Nancy" Roberts, dau. of Levi and Elizabeth (Gochnour) Roberts - but perhaps you know this already. Please contact me if more interested. I am on Ancestry.com and Facebook. Thank you, Marilyn

Jim Harrison
RE: Robert William Jennings
PLEASE, USE THE "EDIT TAB" IN THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF EACH AND EVERY MEMORIAL THAT YOU WANT TO MAKE CHANGES TOO OR REQUEST TRANSFER.
THEN, UNDER "SUGGEST A CORRECTION OR AN ADDITION" CLICK ON THE LINK " SUGGEST ANY OTHER CORRECTION OR ADDITION".
THAT WILL OPEN UP A SCREEN WITH AN AREA TO TYPE IN A MESSAGE. TYPE INTO THAT BOX WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO AND THEN CLICK ON THE "SEND MESSAGE" BUTTON. DO THIS WITH EACH MEMORIAL THAT YOU ARE REQUESTING CHANGES or TRANSFERS TOO.
THAT SENDS ME AN EMAIL WITH ALL THE INFORMATION THAT I NEED TO FIND THE MEMORIAL AND MAKE THE CHANGES THAT YOU REQUEST WITH JUST A FEW CLICKS OF THE MOUSE. THIS IS THE FASTEST AND EASIEST WAY TO MAKE CHANGES TO A MEMORIAL THATS WHY THEY PUT THE EDIT TAB THERE.
DO NOT REQUEST CHANGES OR ADDITIONS TO A MEMORIAL FROM THE "LEAVE MESSAGE" BUTTON ON THE CONTRIBUTORS BIO PAGE!!!!!!!!!

HB "Landers" - 48428459
I recently photographed the Crown Hill National Cemetery sections and found the memorial that you had created for Henry B Landers at this location. At the plot you referenced, is HB Sanders from IA. The National Archives Registry at the cemetery shows the same name as the grave maker, Sanders. The interment date is 08/07/1908.

Emma Ella Wintrowd
I am researching Emma Ella, daughter of Peter and Abigail. She married William Stapley and had four children; May E, Perl Wiliam (Bill) Gertrude J and John (1898). John married Elma J. Kies and died in IL in 1985. Do you have any info on this family?

Addie Canfield Essen
Thank you very much for posting the information regarding Addie Essen. I am one of her great granddaughters - my maternal Grandfather was Carl Essen. I have pictures of George but until I came to this site I was not 100 percent sure it was him. I have other family pictures if you are interested let me know. Regards, Cynthia

can you please go to the memorial and then go through editing so that I have the memorial numbers. It would make it easier to add this info. Thank you

Thanks for the heads up. I changed the birth year and added this description:
This stone clearly says 1869 as the birth year. But his death certificate lists the year as 1868. Other records list him having a twin sister, Lydia, whose death certificate lists her birth date as July 11, 1868.

Jan Dahlquist
Bowres/Seiferth/Olney
I find it interesting that Ross Olney was born January 9, 1910 but is not on the 1910 census with his parents. Also, according to his Ohio Deaths record he died in Auglaize County, Ohio in a long term care facility there.
Elizabeth is interesting too- social security says she was born October 29, 1911 and California death index says she was born October 30, 1912. Based on census records for 1930 (age 18) and April 1940 (age 28) the 1911 date must be right. And the social security record is more likely to be correct.
They sure married young- she was 16, he 18 when they married.
She of course remarried Radford Steele.
So- are you related to this family grouping?

Bowers/Seiferth/Olney
thank you- I note Elizabeth was born after the 1910 census and was gone from the home by the 1930 census. I have never been able to find the family on the 1920 census so that explains the missing sister as she was not on the 1930 census.
Really appreciate all your help. I assume the Ralph on the obit you found was an error and the name was really Ross!
Thanks again for all your help- you are a super sleuth!
