Thank You
Miriam,
Thank you so much for the picture of the head stone for James Hosie Quinn. While HE was not related to me per se, he was my grandmothers first husband. She then married Albert Dillon Bates (thats another long story as we know nothing about the Dillons or the Bates). My grandmother and grandfather lived a long and happy life with many children and grand children and even great grand children.

Then grave site in Loraine Park now has a marker on it as her children never saw fit to put one there. Who knows why but I took care of it. And of course the baby Quinn there was the grand child or James Hosie Quinn Jr. from whom I get my first name.

Thanks again

Jim

P.S. Now if you can find grave sites for any of the Dillons from 1900 +/- a few years that would be truely a blessing.

John King
Robert B. Stanford
My name is John T. King. Robert B. Stanford 1850-1910 was my great grandfather. My great grandmother was Phoebe Flanigan who was the second wife of Robert. They had four children Lois, Jane, Mel and Bob Stanford. There were two other children born to Robert before his firs wife died. My grandmother was Jane (Jamie Estelle) Stanford who married Leon Joseph King. I wonder if you know any of the Avary Family. My great, great grandfather was James Flanigan whose wife was Mattie Avary. I will send you an email. Do you know of Archer Avary (Civil war vet of Cobb's Legion). My G, G, grandfather and both his brothers were civil war vets from Georgia regiments.

On the Trail
William J Langston #35537497
Hi

I am hoping you can help me with some Langston information? I am looking for information about William B Langston. He served in the 16th Georgia Volunteer Infantry.

He enlisted in Co K on July 15 1861. Co K was organized at Columbia County GA and was also known as the "Ramsey Vols." William B Langston died of disease Sept 4 1862 in CSA General Hospital No 1 Danville, VA. A claim for arrearage pay, bounty and commutation was filed by his widow who is listed as Martha J Langston.

Do you know anything about this William B Langston? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Haygood UMC - Va. Beach, Va.
Miram, Thank you, so much, for putting up my grandfather, Jas. Hiram & his brother Frank Robertson, grave marker photos, it is much appreciated. I was where you got the information for all the grave marker photos you took at Haygood, if they were from the markers themselves or if the church itself has the burial records?
Thanks, again_____George.

Jan Bohler and Jimmy Bohler
Dorsey/Darsey
I was just wondering why you have the same people listed in Find A Grave in Westview Cemetery in McDuffie County,Georgia listed as Dorsey and Darsey. I have added pictures of the stones to some of them and the name is Darsey on the stones. Would you please check this and take off the wrong ones or please explain why they are listed under both names becasue this gives each one 2 Memorial #s. Sorry for not doing each one separate but I do not have time tonight and it was on my mind now and I amy forget tomorrow!! LOL!!
Thank you,

Jack Darsey
Miriam - the John Darsey buried in plot 55 is an infant. The Jack Darsey buried in plot 68 is John Speer Darsey. Nancy Jonson Darsey, his wife, is buried beside him in plot 67. I am trying to clear off this
overgrown and years untended cemetery. Photos will be forthcoming. I am hoping to mark some of the unmarked graves.
T. Dorsey Coker, third great grandson of John Speer Darsey.

Sara and Harvey Causey
Lee Family Cemetary in Early Co.
I believe the graves listed here are actually located in the Lee Family Cemetary in Clay County. My husband, Harvey, visited the Early County one this week and took pictures of all of the graves there. None of these were among them.
The 3 graves for which photos have been requested are also listed in the Clay Co. one.
We have not located it yet. However, Harvey's research indicates that the Elam Lee family is buried in Early County and the Elias Lee family in Clay County. The one in Early County is located on private land belonging to Will Harris.

Desert Wind
Alfred Vincent Serrano
Hello Miriam -- You requested a link for Alfred at Calverton from his parents' memorials. We are unable to link parents to children. Only children can be linked to parents not the other way around.

You would need to send a SAC from the memorial for Alfred Vincent Serrano to have him linked to his parents. Don't worry that it says "US Veteran's Affairs" the SAC's go to Find A Grave management. They will either make the links or transfer the memorial to you. -- Thank you! -- Laurel

Braddy-Hilsen Cemetery
Hi Miriam

I was wondering if you know how to get to the Braddy-Hilsen Cemetery. I have someone who would go out to it to photograph the tombstones. What can you tell me about it? Any clues would be helpful? I had the directions but now cant locate them. I guess it's in an overgrown area. Is that right?

Hello,
This is a duplicate entry at the Moseley Cemetery near Uvalda. Someone else already created a memorial prior to this one.
