Hello Again, I will be looking one more time Daphne. I have found other headstones in row "A" and something does not make sense. There are two row "A"s. If I find anything more I will message you. Merry Xmas..

You're welcome. In August I noticed a little plaque had appeared, I assume of your doing. I had to make several attempts to get a usable photo, but I've now added a closeup to the memorial pages. As it was placed at grassroots level, presumably to avoid the mower damaging or uprooting it, it doesn't show well in a wider view, so I've left the my original flower photos in place.

Crooks at Bromley, London Road
Hello Daphne,

To amplify what I have put as text on the photos:

I and another F-a-G volunteer have scoured the cemetery for a Crook gravestone without success. We are pretty sure that the grave in a row in the lawn on the left of the entrance gate. From lower-numbered graves in the same row we deduce that the grave is unmarked at the position I have marked by the yellow and pink paper flowers, though there are some ambiguities in the numbering system and the office was not open to ask when either of us was there.

Old graves in this cemetery are being reused (the numbered graves mentioned above are among these). When this happens and a new monument is erected, the previous occupants are sometimes mentioned, or at least the grave is numbered.

I will keep an eye on the situation and let you know if and when anything happens.

Regards,

Chris

Not a problem. And yes, the cemtery is downtown in an area I wouldn't want to be in at night, but it is not bad during the day. The city has has an officer residing in the cemetery now, which has helped alot with the riff-raff.
