Penny, thank you so much for looking for a headstone photo for him in Dubois Cemetery. And for the information you provided about the location.

|Lesa Pfrommer||Julius Lindorff|
I got the information by going through Orange County death certificates (non-indexed) at familysearch.org, picking out the Loma Vista burials and making memorials.
Julius is at:
Death certificates 1914-1917 vol 6
Image 132 of 235
Transferred the memorial and made a photo request. I would suggest calling the cemetery for a grave location and possible other info.

The person in the picture with Herman is me. Herman is my father. I am 41 years old and live in St.Paul.
I am happy that you have contacted me. I do not know any of my siblings, I had briefly met a couple people at Uncle Richards funeral.
Thanks again for contacting me. Maybe we can meet someday! That would make my world!!
Have a great day Penny!!

I DO have some SCHNEIDERS in my branches, but as you can see it spelled differently and I don't see a link with the Snyders in your tree. Sorry!

I found the grave of Nels Snyder while responding to a photo request for that grave site. However it is NOT in "Scandia Grove Cemetery ORIGINAL." It is in Scandia Grove Cemetery "NEW."
I would like to upload the picture, but can't because the find-a-grave site is in the wrong cemetery.

You're welcome. I saw you were from Arizona and thought I'd see if I could find them before the snow gets here. Yesterday was a really nice day.

I went back to the cemetery with the cities records. It appears that Barney(Byron P.) Baker is in sect. 2 the big Baker stone is on sect. 3 Solomon Baker is in sect 4 and Mrs. Solomon Baker is in sect. 5. Byron Baker has NO stone. Do you want a picture of the grave site?

I think you will have to make another request. Once I hit fulfulled it disappears. I just went to where the instructions told me. I will go down to the city and see what plot and lot it says he's in. I will go tomorrow if I get off work early enough. Make the request and I'll send it.

|Bill Plack||Old German Cemetery|
There are no tombstones at Old German Cemetery; in fact, there is no Old German Cemetery. They stopped using it around 1900. In the next 40 years or so, it became run down and overgrown and many of the bodies were removed to other nearby cemeteries, including Brush Creek, Feightners, Hillview, Harrolds and others. The area was cleared and turned into a playground, and eventually a parking lot. As far as I know, there isn't even a historical marker to show where it was.
