I did not see your note about her husband until I returned home, nor did I pay attention to that
someone had reported a problem with finding her. So I was not particularly looking for someone with her. I usually do try to take photos of the other family members if it is obvious that they are related so nothing jumps out at me. As you can see her marker is almost unreadable it was just luck I found her.

|LShue||Evelyn (and Clinton) Hyde|
Yes, Evelyn's husband, Clinton, was buried next to her. I had already added my photo of his marker to your memorial page. It doesn't show up on the page because Find A Grave has a limit of 3 photos for each memorial page. However, you can see it by clicking on the photos tab. You can also edit the photo order if you wanted to move it up to the memorial page.

|Martha Segrest Dickey||Alice brooks|
Scott, you asked for a photo of the grave of Alice Brooks in the Tuskegee Cemetery. Someone searched the cemetery and did not find this. The authority on the cemetery is Mr. Roy Corbitt at Corbitt's Funeral Home in Tuskegee. He has a book of all the graves to a certain date. I don't have their phone number but it would be easy to find or you can find Corbitt's Funeral Home on Facebook. I know there are some old graves that are continuously being covered by a giant tree.
Hope this helps.

I received your request via Find Grave for a photo of the Clinton and Evelyn Hyde headstone. I 'm sorry, but I cannot find a record for them in my Find A Grave account or in my Ancestry.com public tree.

Are the dates for the month & day from the marker? It's hard to see. If not where did you obtain it. He's my 4th great grandfather & I am trying to add extra info to my chart. Thanks!

We searched the whole cemetery today and did not find her. The only Brooks we found were T.A. (1818-1884) who is buried in the plot with several Powells.

I surveyed most of this county years ago and have about completed most of the postings of the cemeteries that I did, which was all of them. Greenwood, I did not do and whoever did them did a lousy job. I walked it yesterday and cannot find any Brooks in Greenwood though. Ada is probably there and I will try to look more today. If there were a lot of them there, I would have already seen them. Who are more of their family names? Have you looked in Terrell County, Cedar Hill, there seems to be more Brooks there.

I am working on that cemetery taking photos so I may run across her. She seems to be in with the Fussells.

I see you created the memorial for George Stone. I have been replacing old worn out & broken Civil War headstones in the Old Soldiers Cemetery in Tompkinsville, KY. George is a CW veteran and his stone is broken. If I could locate some of his family, and they wanted me to, I would try to get him a new military stone. Do you know anything about him? Thanks, cc

Just put your requested picture on & I see where you have a different birth day & year than the stone has. You may want to check that out.

There were 3 burials in the Brooks group. I have added memorial pages to FindAGrave for Elmyra Brooks, Allah Brooks Haines, and two more graves that I just happened to walk by while looking for Elmyra and Isaviah.....Amanda Brooks Shiver and her husband Wade.
Note the correct name for Isaviah J. Park Brooks !!
