Could you tell me why Nancy Bibby Moore does not have a headstone in this cemetery? A family friend says Nancy is buried next to her mother and father. Thank you

RE: McGaha connection
I am so excited to meet you! Emma was my brick wall in this family and I just discovered her husband a few weeks ago. I can't believe you live in W C's house! Emma was a sister to my great-grandmother, Mary Cordelia McGaha who married John Grant.
I am sure we have lots to share and I want to give you access to my tree on Ancestry.
My email is ellece.varnes@gmail.com. I may not respond until tomorrow as I have plans for this evening.

RE: Knight Lot in LaFayette Cemetery

Last week when I photographed the graves in LaFayette Cemetery, I may not have gotten all of them as a dark cloud was approaching. I was actually there looking for someone else and happened on the Knight Lot. Of course the LaFayette Cemetery is not complete on F.A.G. yet; it is a work in progress.
I looked at the Census records for Babe Knight and Dallis V. Knight. Fred Knight, son of DV, is buried in LaFayette. His wife Irene Hodnett Knight is still alive, between 95-100. I saw her in May but her mind is gone. She has a daughter who lives in Wadley, Vickie Knight Reaves. Her husband Frank B. Reaves died last year. She might have information on where Babe Knight is buried, as he would be her Great grandfather. Just a thought...

Knight Lot in LaFayette Cemetery

Vanessa:

I made the link for Oberia Knight to her parents - had never heard the name Oberia before. Also, there is a Willie Sue McGill buried with the Knights; is that a daughter also? She has the same type of granite marker as the others in the lot.
Do you know where D.V. Knight's parents are buried? Would like to link him too.

Thanks,

DC

C. L. Knight

Vanessa:

On F.A.G. you can only link children to their parents, not parents to their children. So I was unable to link Dallas V. Knight to his son C. L. Knight. I did make a request to the person who created the memorial for C.L. Knight and asked her to link him to his parents and I'm sure she will do this for you.

Thanks,

Don C.

RE: Nathan Riley Sorrell's family picture
There may be some upgrade changes going on with findagrave. I've seen recently where someone couldn't delete a memorial. Hopefully they will work it out soon, alot of folks are miffed.

There should be a little edit button-thingy below the pic you can click to edit the caption. As the poster of the pic only you have permission to edit or delete it. That's a good thing as nobody can delete your pictures, ever. :)
