hubers
I am not too well connected with the Hubers. I did have a great aunt who married a Huber and I knew a couple of their kids. I do know there is a bunch at Mt. Zion Cemetery back in Clay County, Indiana.

Ok, I found listings for your Roy and a sister, Rena that no one in the family now knows about. I'll see hat I can find. There is a Bradley & Harrison reunion every year in New Mexico, so someone there may know something.

RE: downey
Yes I am, Johnathan H Downey, was my great grandfather. My grandfather was Jasper's brother, Benjamin A Downey, my father is Fred W. Downey, and just turned 88 last week. He talks fondly of Jasper and his family. I know that Jasper moved from Ks and went to California. I would really love to exchange info. I've got alot of Jasper's people already, but there's alot I just haven't had the time to enter.

Thanks, Paula L Downey

Levi Cramer, Co. A, 86th Illinois
Dear Joyce, No I am not related to Levi or any of the Cramers, but I am an old re-enactor and the unit we portrayed was the 86th Illinois. I was the Historian for the unit and we took great pride in the way we represented those men. I tracked down many descendants who provided us with copies of letters, diaries and photographs of the men who served in the 86th. Levi lived until 1902 and there must be many photographs of him out there spread out among the family somewhere. I would love to get one of him in uniform, which I'm sure there were some at some time. But, right, now I'd be thrilled to get a copy of anything of him. Also, I have requested a picture of his tombstone on Find A Grave. If you have pictures and have a way to upload them, perhaps you can upload his tombstone picture on his biographical site that is setup. Please let me know what you know or have on Levi and if you think of anyone that I should contact, please let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Baxter
