RE: Mary Ann (Stokes) Gerard Waggaman
Thank you for the response. I'm glad I could help. I had traced Mary Ann Stokes Gerard Waggaman and knew of her second marriage and burial. I also had researched her children.
James d 1856 buried in Yankee Point
Sarah Ann married Delos Moore d Dec. 17, 1863
Elizabeth married James Hughes d bef 1900
Sina Ellen married James Petet d 1924 buried in Old Baptist Cemetery, Fountain County, Indiana
John d 1865 buried Yankee Point
Alfred married Samantha Gobel d 1908 buried in Bethel Cemetery, Vermilion County, Illinois
Samuel married Fannie Goble d 1918 buried Hopewell Cemetery, Vermillion County, Indiana
Rebecca married Edward Stokes d 1936 buried Greenlawn Cemetery, Montgomery County, Indiana

I have more dates and details for her children and their children. I kind of got off my family tree researching the Stokes as they are not really related to me as my ancestors are the DeArmonds. Are you related?

Gerard is spelled numerous ways by the same family as well as Petet and Gobel being spelled several different ways. It just makes researching more interesting.

Good luck with your research!
Jetta

RE: Anna Youmans DeArmond
My source for Mary Ann Stokes is the book DeArmonds in America which is available online. I don't know his source but maybe court records for Anna's divorce from William Stokes. I have Mary Ann Stokes marrying Samuel Gerrard/Garrard/Garad and moving to Illinois, but looking at my tree I don't have a source for that. I'll need to do some more research to see where I found that fact.

Please look at the dates on her memorial. Alice had eight to ten children so how can she be less than twenty years old.

Was Alice Haynes married 3 times? You have two husbands on her memorial, Mathews and Bess, why is her last name Haynes.

FAG # 30746650 Myrta E. King Van Meter
On this Find A Grave posting there is a note:

Myrta E. King, daughter of John King, 1850 - 1902 and Mary Jane Slaught, 1854 - 1880 of Leslie, Ingham Co., MI, married Jonas K. Van Meter on 6 March 1894 in Sumner Co., KS - Book E, Page 278, License #756.

Could you verify the parents cited? My Myrta E. King is the daughter of Daniel Close King and Lydia Jane Wetherbee not the parents shown above. There is another Myrta E. King that married a Seth Jubb in Michigan whose father is John King.
I would appreciate any help to unravel this mystery.

Hi - I changed the spelling of her last name but would you please remove the photos of the scanned interment records? Those are not allowed and the info is already on the memorials. Thanks!

Hi, I always appreciate added information. Hugh was born 25 July, 1891 in Labette Co. and died 15 October, 1946 in San Mateo, CA. He was married to Elvira Elizabeth Shilling. Karl was born 24 July, 1883 in Labette Co. and died 27 March 1948 in Richmond, CA. I have also failed to find their burial, but hope springs eternal. Karl was married to Treca L Gifford.

Do you have a connection to this family?

Regards,
Rita

Mary Haslet [abt 1781 - 1826 ] and James Haslet [abt 1769-1834] Butler OH
Thanks for your work on these memorials. Do you have sources for the extra information you listed, especially for the relationships? Do you have a copy of the 1834 will and probate documents? I am trying to connect a Mary Ann Haslett to Samuel and then to James Haslet, then back to Ireland. [Mary Ann married William Nelson Stokes, and they, like many of the Haslets moved from Butler, Oh to Carroll Co., Indiana]

Glen Zell
Lottie Eliza Allen Hutson
I have attached Lottie to Harry due to these facts. I have not confirmed 100% this is the correct connection. A Family tree compiled by my Great Aunt has Lottie marrying a Hudson. No first name. Lottie's dad died during the civil war at the battle of Arkansas Post. On son's (Buck) death certificate it list his mother's name as Lottie Allen. This plus the family tree lead me to think she may have married Harry. Buck is buried at the Berwyn cemetery, Gene Autry, Carter County Oklahoma.

RE: Argyle.Taylor my GGGGGgrandfather
Susy, Have you found where the Taylors are using a middle name of "WICKLIFFE" and where that is coming from? My James Taylor family used that name as did Rev. John Taylors family. Looking through your data I find Moses Anderson also used the name.
WILLARD WICKLIFFE 1848
Any ideas?
Thanks
Monte
