If you call Acacia Park Cemetery and Mausoleum at 773-625-7800 and:
1. Ask if your photo request person has a headstone / grave marker.
2. If there is a headstone / grave marker ask for the section, block, lot and grave number.
3. If you send that information to me, Susan (#48964989) I will go there and fulfill your photo request. Of course any other Find A Grave volunteer can also fulfill your request if you then add the headstone location information to your photo request page.

I am wondering where the information came from for the siblings on this memorial. I have been doing research for my ancestry tree and having 2 Marys in the same family seems out of sorts, especially with so many years in between the 2 of them. Any help you can give would be much appreciated. Thank you

I have to correct my prior message. I put the cert's in as "Other". They aren't a headstone or picture. Find A Grave uses the same icon for a picture or a "Other" addition. I wish they would pick/add another icon so people could identify with it not being a picture. Hey, contact Find A Grave and make the suggestion, I have to agree with you 100% it would much easier to know it's not a photo.

Do you still have the map and burial list for this cemetery that you posted? Has a copy been added to the Georgia room at the Cobb Co. Library? If not could I get a copy from you to add to the Georgia Room? I was appointed to the Cobb Co. Cemetery Preservation Commission last month. this would make an excellent addition to their records.

|Bobs your Uncle||RE: Nelles photos|
We came all the way from central California to fulfill you request. (just kidding) My father and I are visiting family near there and decided to check out the local cemetery. There were 430 burials listed but we noticed the cemetery was about double that size. So over the last two weeks (weather permitting) we each picked a section and going row by row we photographed every single visible headstone there. My sister said years back there was a bad flood and the whole area was underwater. We noticed there appeared to be some missing headstones and some were unreadable. We still photographed them anyway.
I was happy to find the one that you requested. There are a couple more requests that I'm afraid we may not be able to fulfill as we are almost done processing our photos.
I will be happy to transfer her husband into your care.
