Hannah Randall Wood, Covil's Corner
Hannah Randall Wood's Find A Grave profile shows death year of 1830 but her actual death date is April 18, 1840. The photographer of the headstone confirmed to me that the year etched on the stone is 1840, and cemetery records say 1840. I've left a correction message on the Find A Grave system. Her memorial # is 40191845.

Frank M. Hardesty
Mac,

My grandmother-in-law, Anna Bell Adams (Hanford) had the following newspaper clipping from April 10, 1958 about Frank M. Hardesty (28986269) in her possession:

"Hardesty Rites Held On Friday. Frank M. Hardesty died Tuesday, April 1 at the home of his son, Morse, 1220 East Superior street in Alma. He was born on November 8, 1873 at Goshen, Indiana. Mr. Hardesty had lived in Alma three years. His son, Morse, is the only survivor. Funeral services were held Friday morning at 10:00 at the Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside cemetery Rev. G. LeRoy Bruce conducted the services."

Respectfully,

Joe

Samuel King
I forgot to tell you - Samuel's lot number is 240, not 260. The man at the cemetery looked into it closer when I couldn't find Samuel's marker. He didn't give me the grave letter so I'm not sure if "G" is correct.

Samuel King in Napa Valley Memorial Park
I'm posting the photos of Samuel King's marker. It is a flat veteran's marker, so nothing is on the back. He is surrounded by other veterans of various wars. If you email me then I can send you the photos of the other's near him.

Carl Guenther
Greenlawn has confirmed that Mr. Guenther is buried in Block 18. Unfortunately there is not many tombstones in the area he is buried in and Carl is one of them. However, I have sent a picture of the general area that he can be found in. It is a lovely area with that big old tree there. Barb

RE: And in your area...
My husband and I went to Crooked Creek RV park. It is near the cemetery, so that's why I got to take the pics. He will take me out of town every now and then and let me stroll thru the cemeteries and NOT COMPLAIN. LOL!! I really love doing this so you never know I may just get to the other cemeteries. LIKE I SAY "NO PROMISES"!!! I JUST NEVER LIKE GOING ALONE IN THESE COUNTRY CEMETERIES.

Earl McManus
I live in Howe a couple of blocks from Riverside Cemetery. I offered to take a picture of the Earl McManus you wanted a picture request for. I went down there and could find some McManus's but not the Earl you are speaking of. I went down to the library to see what the Riverside Cemetery listing listed and could not find him listed there either. I have the following McManus's listed though: Row 5, Lot 5, 6, and 7 are Lot 5 - Mary Magdaline McManus, B 04/19/1858, D 06/30/1955. Lot 6 - Silas Bettes McManus, B 09/17/1845, D 04/15/1917. Lot 7 - Jacob McManus, B 1804, D 1890. Fidelia Bettes McManus, B 1811, D 1898. Also: Row 6, Lot 5 and 6, 8?, 9, 10 and 11?, 12, 13 and 14 are Lot 5 - Charlie McManus, B 03/21/1859, D 01/14/1923. Nellie J. McManus, B 02/10/1868, D 04/04/1897. Lot 6 - Cecil R. McManus, B 08/14/1893, D 02/04/1914 (above stone is leaning against large stone). Lot 8 - Small stone, no name. Lot 9 - Hattie McManus, dau of H&M, Child, D 04/19/1866. Lot 10 - Bracie McManus, child of H&M, Child, no dates given. Lot 11 - Small stone (father), no dates given. Lot 12 - Fayette D. Also an infant son, Inf., D August 1869. I also the note there on "Clarissa Ann Smalley McManus. I see there is on Row 17, Lot 22 a Charles A> Smalley, son of N. and L. I., 1 year, D 03/01/1846. If any of the above helps and you need pictures, please let me know. Thanks! I tried!

RE: Donald Cosner
Hi. You can look up Donald Stewart Cosner at www.pro-football-reference.com. It says that he was born on February 16, 1917 in Malta, MT and that he attended Montana State University. I don't know if there is a good book on the history of the football Cardinals. I hope this helps... David
