Glad to help out. I inherited a large bunch of genealogy books from my late aunt and thought I would put some of the information to good use.

|Lilly B||Lucy Bennett's birth date|
Since it does that typical "aged" Xyrs Xmos and Xdays her being 36 yrs 10 months would make it approx 01 May 1773 not in 1774. Even with just 1774 she was abt 4 to 5 yrs older than her husband. They had at least 5 sons and two daughters (in 11 yrs 6 in the 1st 8 yrs)perhaps she lost one before she had Oliver Hampton Bennett in 1810 for there are several years between he and the next oldest. That might be why she stayed with family in Liberty, Lynchburg area, (not Richmond as some put down in later years by guessing) while his father and older sibs were already moved to Butler Co, KY (see 1810 census) Lucy was not there (at least at the time she gave birth to Oliver as it was a well known fact he was born in VA. "Elisha" married Lucy's niece Elizabeth "Betsy" Adcock in 1812. They had several more children all girls. he died in 1839.I'll keep this one short, well shorter. Lilly B

|Lilly B||Headstone (very nicely cleaned up!) of Lucy Bennett Lynchburg, VA|
Its been ages since I first saw this and attached it to Lucy Cason Bennett wife of Elisha Bennett mother of several of his children and she died at or shortly after the birth of their youngest Olvier H Bennett in Feb 1810. He had moved the family from VA to Butler Co, KY but she (Lucy was older than him and had many children since they married in 1897 (at least 6 with Oliver) she was born in 1773. The epitaph says "Lucy Bennett consort of H.B. (not just H.) who died 11 March 1810 aged 36 years 10 months. I believe the H.B. are supposed to be her husband's initials so Bennett was her married name and H.B. (consort even in that year seems an odd expression it usually was applied to royalty etc) but I think the H. may be an error or Elisha used his middle name and as his last son was Oliver Hampton Bennett (in some trees they have that middle name as Hughes) but definitely a repeatedly used family name is Hampton (his 1st cousin was John Hampton Bennett and went by Hampton Bennett all his life etc, etc. None of his other sons have that family name. So having limited space they only put the initials. The fact is Oliver H Bennett her son had 5 namesakes during his life 3 of the 5 were given his whole name Oliver Hampton Bennett and then their own surnames ie his best friend Samuel Brown named his 1st born son Oliver Hampton Bennett Brown. So since she had close family in Liberty, VA and in Lynchburg also it seems an even closer fit. The Hughes advocates can be just as pleased. Elisha's paternal grandmother was Sarah Hampton Bennett, Hampton being her maiden name. Could you see if I could add some family info if this proves a match. Is there any other possible matches or links for Lucy Bennett? Thank You Lilly B

I walk down the rows so that is the order in the row. #41 is a Boyle and #36 is a Smith, if there would happen to be any relation there. These pics are loaded on the memorial pages for each person.
