RE: Hopkins & Lapps
Hi, Lee,

I think I've done this right - transferred Jacob and Sarah to you; sent you a couple edits for the Hopkins family to add the area designation; posted the marker photos that weren't up yet to the Hopkins folks; and deleted my memorials. Please take a look and make sure that I didn't inadvertently make any errors. If I did, hopefully, you'll be able to correct everything now.

It's good to see folks back with their families!

Take care, and thanks for caring about these folks.

Hi, Lee,

I hope you are doing well this holiday season.

Sorry to have taken so long to get to your edits - it's been a hectic time.

However, I finally got them done. In addition to your edit, I posted the marker photos and provided the official designation for the area in which they are located.

Are you by any chance related? I am not, and would be happy to transfer them to someone who knows them even if the relationship is outside the Find-a-Grave transfer guidelines. If you would like to manage their memorials, please let me know. Also let me know if you're interested in managing any of the other memorials I've posted. I will always consider a transfer request unless the person is my immediate relative.

Take care, and have a safe New Year's.

Kathy

I found your Water St Hopkinses but it was getting dark. I'm going to try to get there during light hours but if I can't, I'll upload the ones with a flash.

John Hopkins in Green-Wood Cemetery
Is there some way I can help to narrow down the search for John Hopkins in Green-Wood Cemetery. There are requests for 9, spread all over the 500 acres. The person who created the pages neglected to include grave locations, which would have allowed you to see who was buried with who. Perhaps I can help sort that out if you can provide more info on the John Hopkins you seek.

Emily Valentine
I added the genealogical information that you posted in the leave a flower section, which I believe is for a personal message and prayer, to Emily Valentine's memorial.

Please check to see if it's correct. The way you wrote it made it sounded like Emily's maiden name should be Hopkins and that Rachel Hopkins had the four children and not Emily.

If you ever need to add any genealogical information, just edit the memorial and use the suggestion request section. I always add this information to the memorials. I know that some people like to use the leave the flower section instead.

RE: Hannah Strong Hopkins
But now i am confused as I thought the Grand Street Cemetery , is now called Library Park... I guess they moved some of the people buried there.

Hannah Strong Hopkins
Hi Lee,
I looked up p 668 of the following you put on her memorial -
"A drawing/photo of Hannah's grave stone is pictured on page 668 of "The Town and City of Waterbury, Connecticut". Her husband John was a miller.

and no picture on that page??

RE: Hopkins
Hello Lee

Sorry for the delay in answering your question if I am related to any of the Hopkins for which I have memorials. Any relationship would be distant (Kreeger family related). If you are thinking of asking for a transfer I would more than likely be glad to transfer. If you are interested in Kreeger Family information I have plenty to share!! Just ask either way.

RE: Kaziah Hopkins Davies
Thank you, you had me wondering what was wrong. I have so many different spellings of her name, which I have gotten from so many different records, be it census, marriage, passenger list, obituary, city directories, court records, and death certificates.

Otis E Hopkins
Hi. I saw your flowers for Otis, where you said you had not proven he was the son of Eli Hopkins and Mary Ann Braman.
Have you been to seekingmichigan.com for his death certificate?
Parents listed as Eli and Mary Ann. He was 70y, 7m, and 10dys, widowed, carpenter, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on 25 Feb, 1853.
I believe there are more Hopkins on there. I know Adeline's is there.

RE: Huldah Hopkins Field
I have not followed the Hopkins clan since they married into the Field family and not a direct line. But thanks for the edit on her inscription and I'll put a note on her bio about the birth day and month since we don't have a primary source.

Huldah Hopkins Field
Where did you find Huldah's birth day and month? I am the unofficial Field family historian and had not been able to find a primary source for her complete birth date. Cyrus West Field, her husband's brother, was my great great grandfather. It seems strange that her birth day is the same month and day as her death month and day...may be a coincidence or error??
