may I make a suggestion about the obit you entered? it looks like a running sentence. you should really break it up into paragraphs.
1. you can read it faster
2. it looks neater

not criticizing your work, just given you something to think about.

Thank you for your quick response, and thank you for linking him to his parents. I just checked and Leta Neely Conley was also linked to her parents today.

Ronald Dee Conley #37675921
The obituary for Leta Marie Neely Conley (#11779372) shows Ronald Lee (not Dee) Conley was her infant son. Was that Ronald Dee Conley (#37675921)? If so, can you link him to Leta and Joseph Conley (#37675741)? Thank you. (I have put in a request to the creator of her memorial to add her parents John and Jesse Neely.)

RE: Bessie & John Prochasky
I put the Lot information on the memorials. I also keep the requests in my book so that in case I happen to run across it somewhere else in the cemetery I can add it later. This does happen occasionally because the person who writes the information down can make mistakes also. They are human.

I have walked this area several times and have found no stone for either of these people. I do have the lot information for these people and can put that on the memorials to show they are buried in the cemetery if you like. Let me know but there are no stones for them. Jean

Conley
I was wondering if you could email me at robbie@yahphotography.com. I have a couple questions about the Conley family and wanted to see if you could answer them for me. Thanks!

Mary, would you please contact me via email
clellastiles@yahoo.com

I am helping a gal from Emmett, ID on her family history and she doesn't know any of her living family. You have done so much work on that family on findagrave, I would like you to be able to contact her. Thanks for your great service.

Edits at Downing
Hello.

In case you were wondering, the source on those "edits" I have entered via the tab system (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.

Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.

Question for Mary
I am the Great Grandson of Bessie Jane Harris Jones. You are listed as the keeper of the information on her. May I ask what connection you have to her?

Bessie Jane Harris Jones memorial # 93130761
I found my great-grandmother's grave and Mary was listed as doing upkeep on this grave. My grandfather was one of her children but his information is omitted from information on her Find A Grave memorial #93130761. His name was William Harris Jones (1877 - 1918)

Thank you

Mary Reals

RE: Emery
Thanks for letting me know. When you enter the Latitude just enter 41.06744 and when you enter the Longitude enter it like this -89.97621

This is the decimal format Find A Grave requires.
I am helping Stark County Genealogical Society on their War of 1812 Project. Trying to document the veterans.

If you look at Benjamin Berfield in the McClenahan Cemetery you can see how the GPS is entered for him.
Thanks for your help.

Elijah Emery
Hello Mary,

Although Elijah Emery is buried at Hopeville Cemetery he died in Kansas City, Kansas on Dec. 4, 1918. I found his obituary on genealogybank.com yesterday. The obituary was in the Kansas City Star on Dec. 5, 1918. He was born in Stark County, Illinois.

He was married to Melita Alice Adkins on September 9, 1866 in Hopeville, Iowa. Melita was one of my great grandfather's sisters. He is buried at Maple Hill Cemetery with his wife. She died on April 2, 1868 the same day that she gave birth to her son James Emery.

He married a second time to Emma A. Daniel on Dec. 12, 1871 in Hopeville. They would have a daughter Sylvia Emery.

I can't seem to locate the memorial you created on May 28 - what is the memorial number????

And, are you saying that the deceased is your sister-in-law? If so I'll transfer to you - complete with obit and pic.
