|Carol||RE: Dempsey Family|
Lynn, glad to help. I assume you know that the Jacob Dempsy listed at Shaffer Cemetery is in the "Dempsey row" ;) and the Tombaughs thought he was probably a Dempsey. I took a copy of pictures of the row if you would like them. Carol

Since Guy Hitchcock is your cousin we might also be cousins, ourselves. My Great Grandfather was Jared Beecher Hitchcock, son of David Hitchcock and grandson of older David Hitchcock, Revolutionary War soldier. Rick

The picture was hard to take. The stone fell off a huge two foot tall base. The top wording of the stone was on the ground and the bottom was leaning on the tall base. Plus a pine tree branch was covering most of it. I actually took a photo of it upside down and then rotated the photo so it made sense. Are you related to anyone with the last name of Mary Hearn? It is a stone right next to this stone in the family plot.

No, :( I did not but plan to go back and can look for it. Where she is buried there was only the one headstone. It was my pleasure to take it and help.

You're very welcome. It's amazing when you find one answer 10 more questions appear. There's no sense in having a map if no one can read it (I couldn't either) so I deleted the map and replaced it with a larger file. The image is scaled so click the image to open at full size. Please see if this one works for you. You'll probably want to change the photo order. Let me know if you still want me to email the file. =]

Sorry for the blank message. There wasn't a marker for him so I uploaded a copy of the locator map and a photo of his site next to Alfred G Nelson. The image is scaled so open it so you can read the marker. Let me know if you don't want the photos and I'll remove them.

|Kim Poyner Woodhouse||Resthaven Cemetery Photo Request|
You made a photo request on Find A Grave in Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City. This cemetery is ENORMOUS, so to get a photo a plot location is needed. Please contact the funeral home: email@example.com
The funeral home charges non-family members (office walk-ins - like me)to do plot location lookups, so please mention your relationship. When you have the plot number, add it in the PLOT box (if you own the memorial). If you don't own the memorial, send me an email with the information.

There are seven Clinkenbeard resting places that I will get for you (that includes Sarah and Billy). There are actually nine at IOOF but two already have pictures uploaded.
No need to request the rest, they shall all get done together!

I go there almost daily so i will be glad to do a closer picture for you, Emma Huson's stone was a hard one as there is a tree in front of the stone and as the years went by the tree grew and has her headstone at a very peculiar angle.

Cool! Thanks for the information. I will try to do some digging and see if I can find more information on the children. I love to investigate! LOL
I live in KCMO. I'm about an hour's drive from Braymer and I have long-time friends living in Polo, so I may be going back down there soon.
If you want to find any Missouri death certificates, they are online at the Missouri Archives website. They add more every year and sometimes I help transcribe them. I think they go up to 1961 now. Are you familiar with that? You may want to try to find your missing information from that site: http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/
Just click on "Search the Death Certificate Database" and you can search by county, by name, etc. It's awesome!
