|Les||Frances Zimmerman Hagan Murphy|
Just a follow-up to my note of 12/4/14, please make the following changes from my nephew, Ryan Renn:
Findagrave entry for Frances Catherine Zimmerman Hagan-Murphy has a couple things that could improve. One, it has no mention of the name Zimmerman. It does not link to parents. It does not link to her husband. I believe the record for her husband is: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=95608456 - however, the record creator may want to check that that is right.

Can you link Frances Zimmerman Hagan Murphy, 95608455, to her parents Marcus Zimmerman, 58880453, and Johanna Goetzman Zimmerman, 58880519?
Frances is my g-g-aunt and if you want to transfer her to me, that would be fine.

|Larry Parker||Katharina Kracht|
I read your write up for Katharina Kracht:
You surmised that Katharina Kracht and the person buried next to her, Johann (misspelled as Johan) Baumgartner (misspelled as Baumgardner) could be siblings.
But the stones say mother and father. The two people were husband and wife, before Johann died. Kath Baumgartner later married Francis "Frank" Klug. Then Frank died and Kath Klug later married Simon Kracht.
Katharina and Frank are ancestors of my sister-in-law.
Thanks a lot for taking the grave marker photos and creating the memorial. I was able to add a lot of new information to my chart, based on what you photographed and wrote.

There exists an application for a passport, for Jacob, filled out, and sworn to, by him. This application shows a birthdate of 23 September, 1856. The 1858 date is taken from a death certificate filled out by a relative after Jacob's death. I am inclined to believe the 1856 date as Jacob is the one who placed his birth at that date. Just thought I'd give you a heads up on this if you didn't already have it. By the way Jacob was the husband of my second great aunt, Barbara (nee Degen) Weber. Thanks.

|April Heicken||Augustus Heicken|
Thank you so much for finding the burial place of Augustus Heicken! I had trouble finding the gravestone the last time I was in St. Michael's Cemetery. The Catholic Cemetery Genealogy Report listed him buried in Block 11 Row 7 Grave 1 and for some reason could not find it. I am now getting back into doing more research and finding your photo on the Find A Grave website was a great way to start. : )
Thank you so much!!

Sorry, I'm responding to about 50 or 60 messages today on Find A Grave that I'm backed up on. The St Michael's Cemetery in Louisville isn't the St Michael's that was padlocked. Thank you, though, for the great photos you've added. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Thanks for adding the photos. The last two times I've gone there to take photos that main gate has been padlocked, so I was a little bummed out about that. Thanks for what you do for Find A Grave!

|Maureen Fitzgerald||Memorial 103955220|
I wonder if you'd be interested in transferring the memorial for Mary Magdalen Traeger Zeller (#103955220) to me? She is the great grandmother of my husband, Ken Zeller. I believe that the picture you have for the gravestone is not the correct one. I have found the correct stone that includes her husband, Frank F, Sr. and her son William M. Thanks!
P.S. I've created a corrected memorial for her is your are interested: # 135599513

Chris, Thanks for catching my mistake. I am thinking about moving Henry's memorial to St. Michael's where it is supposed to be. I can copy the photos so that I can put them on the new memorial or I can create the new memorial and let you know when it's done and you can post them again. Whichever is fine. I just want to make this right without losing all of our work. Jayne

Continuing my research on the Ross side of my family, I made a surprising discovery this morning. Margaret Ross, sister of Susan W. Ross Rosenham, married her brother-in-law Leo Rosenham 3 years after the death of her sister. According to Kentucky vital records, this occurred on 30 Jan 1866. (This record appears as both Rosenham and Rosenbaum in the records, but it is Leo of Bardstown, Nelson, Kentucky in both). Margaret Ross, daughter of Samuel Ross and Elizabeth Daniel Wortham, is listed in both the 1850 and 1860 census records as being born in 1838. She vanishes from records after that. Since Leo remarried to Fannie Strauss in 1868, it follows that my great grand aunt Margaret died shortly after the marriage. You mentioned for Maggie Rosenham's grave had a birth year that was difficult to read. Since you ruled out maggie as a child of Leo's, it must say 1838.
This is the third case this week of finding a double marriage of this kind among my Bardstown relatives. It also explains why my grandmother referred to Leo as Uncle Rosenham even after the death of Susan, since he continued in the family for a second marriage.

Thank you for posting this memorial to my great grand aunt. You are correct in your research. Aunt Susan died on October 21 1863, as evidenced by a dated photo I have added to the memorial.
I have a number of Ross and Barnes relatives in that part of Kentucky and I appreciate your efforts in documenting the cemeteries there.

Hi, Chris. Thanks for preparing this memorial for my great great great aunt. Her husband was Nicholas Johann Basler (12/13/1816 -- 4/11/1860). I'm trying to find his grave and that of his father, Johann Basler (1/7/1791 -- 1854) who also died in Louisville. Are you related to the Baslers? Thanks,

Thanks for noticing that I had the wrong dates on John's memorial. I indeed used the dates from another person. I have corrected my memorial with his dates from the Death Record.
Thanks for all you do in Find A Grave.

Thank you so very much for your permission to use your data and photos.
My Christmas gift was a partial gift. I put together a small book with a "Promise Note" of more to come.
The gift was really appreciated. I think this was the best gift ever!
I can't thank you enough for sharing your input.
Happy New Year
