Chris you posted a picture of a grave stone for Sitnah Hughes listing death year as 1839. Could you please check and see if it is possible that it is 1889? I just found a Kentucky Birth record showing that she had a child in 1859.

Even though this Louisvillian is not a Cards fan, (yes, I bleed blue), I am grateful that you allowed me to have Elizabeth's memorial. If you were the one who supplied her biographical information, I appreciate that, too.
Thanks and blessings to you and yours in 2016, Sheila

Catharine Reinhart Hittinger is in fact Catharine Kirchdorfer Hittinger borh in Bah-Rhin, France. Her husband John Hettinger (Hittinger) was the brother of my great-great grandmother, Maris Katharina Hettinger Reinhart born 1820 in the Bavarian Rhineland. Her daughter's death certificate incorrectly identifies her maiden name as Reinhart. If you look at her son Frank's death certificate you will see her maiden name is Kirchdorfer.
Additional info about John and Catharine follows:
John's Death- Louisville Anzeiger Dec. 15, 1905 Lived at 1631 Hancock Street, Louisville, Ky. Buried St. Michael Cemetery Dec. 16, 1905 Sect. 0, Block 12, Row 23, Grave 1.
John Hettinger served in the 28th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry Regiment U.S. with his brother in law Nicolas Reinhart (Maria Catharine Hettinger) See John's Obituary in Louisville Courier-Journal, Dec. 15, 1905. Came to U. S. in 1847.
John Hettinger changed the spelling of his surname to Hittenger. He was the brother of Maria Katharina Reinhart nee Hettinger. I was told by a Hittinger family member it had something to do with an L & N Railroad strike and he wanted to distinguish himself from other Hettingers.

Hi. I have just joined Find A Grave. I wanted to correct some information about my grandmother, Mary Helen "Marie" O'Meara Kamber. I sent in an edit on her name.
Also, you have listed my mother's birth and death dates correctly, so it's not "calculated" -- I suppose that helps? (Marie Kamber RoBards Renn).
Thanks for your info. If I can help you in any way on here, please let me know!

|Michael Lemke||RE: Frank and Amelia Bayer.|
Thanks for writing me back.
I remember contacting you about them, I believe to add Frank Bayer's parents. I have his death certificate which lists his father as John Bayer. My knowledge of him comes mostly from his being my grandmother's uncle and the fact that she kept all their family pictures (which I have now inherited)
I don't know if I can send you the death certificate through here, but if you will give me an email address I'll be glad to send it or link you to my ancestry account where it's laid out.
