RE: Harrison West
I believe the Laclede County Sentinel was the best source of local news. More about the people and less about politics.

I see I talked with you last Dec. about Geogia Ann (Decker) Nolan Tabor. Were you ever able find where she is buried? JD

How many children did Harrison and his wife have? What happened to the family after he died?

I took photos of every stone in the cemetery and have posted them here. There were many graves just marked with field stones.

Asbury Hopkins Memorial
Are you a relative of Asbury Hopkins, memorial 90831443? If so, please let me know how you are related to him. He was an unmarried uncle's of my husband.

I requested transfer of his memorial to me through the standard request procedures and it was denied because it was "outside" the normal procedures. Since he was unmarried, there are no descendents who exactly fall in Find A Grave's guidelines.

Unless you are related, I would really like to manage his memorial. I am sort of the family historian for both my family and my husband's family. You'll notice that I have posted two photographs of Asbury. If you are not related in any way to Asbury Hopkins, I would really appreciate it if you would transfer his memorial to me. My find a grave contributor number is: 47781716.

Thanks!

Merill cemetery
I noticed your post on Linda's page. Maybe we can help each other. I have personally visited this cemetery only to discover it was very overtaken by trees, weeds, bugs, etc. I know that cemetery holds some secrets. My great great grandmother was Julia Merrill. Does the name sound familiar? I took some a few photos while I was there. I will try to get them posted. I have a tree on Ancestry: Salsman/Martin.

If you will wait until the summer, it will be in better shape. Jeff Breedlove and few of his friends are working on getting it cleaned. They have not been able to work because of the weather and being busy with other projects. It is suppose to call me the next day they plan to work down there. If so, I'll let you know. I told him I want to go with them and take pictures.

I am sorry but the John Creely in Calvary is John Joseph... http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=creely&GSiman=1&GScid=27890&GRid=52225967&

I ran his name thru the MO DC website, All the johns have other initials other than an O from 1910-62
http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/deathcertificates/Results.asp?type=advance&tLName=creely&tFName=john&sCounty=all&tYear=&radSearch=Exact&radFNSearch=Exact&sMonth=all

Are you sure he Died or buried in MO.?
Sorry,
Kathie

McClintock
Hello Karen,

I noticed in Odd Fellows Cem there is and Unknown McClintock. Is this an actual grave or is it a family name plot? Trying to locate a McClintock. His son was born in the same town as this marker. Thanks so much.

RE: John Tucker Saltsman
Karen, I live about an hour away from this cemetery and with my schedule don't make it back often. Sections of this cemetery are old and the stones are, well, just that, stones or completely missing. I replied to your photo request that I photographed the entire cemetery a few years ago and have posted several headstones on Find A Grave, however, I'm afraid that your ancestor may fall into the stone only or missing stone category. Should I travel that way in the near future I will make a special effort to check the area for you. Jenny

I can log in as VirJean but I am unfamiliar with the website and can't figure out how to remove her from the volunteer status. Can you assist or is there somewhere on the website where I can find this information?
