RE: Henry Dixon
Jackie,
Not sure how Tomas Wildey got there. He's not even someone in my tree anywhere. Henry Dixon's father should be John Dixon born 1826 in Washington, Mercer, Ohio - died before 1880 in Jackson, Jay, Indiana

RE: Hannah Teeter
I've already deleted my memorial because she was your ancestor. I would have transferred it to you if asked all those years ago. No need for duplicates. Errors can be corrected. Thank you and good luck!

RE: Hannah Teeter
No, she is not an ancestor of mine. My 4th great grandmother is buried at that cemetery and when I go to take photo's - I take photo's of surrounding graves to post to Find A Grave (after I check to see if there is already one there or not). Is there a way to combine them? I will take mine down but for future reference you might want to check to see if there is already a memorial there before posting a new one. I would have gladly transferred it to you. Thank you.

Find A Grave Memorial #28982638 - Peter Hoover Cemetery, Randolph Co., IN. Is there a reason you've added double memorials to one that was already listed? Just curious. Thank you.

Eckrote family of Henry co. Indiana
it turns out that Gerald Eckrote had a obit on line and Nancy Kincaid was his daughter. the photo I was refering to is of Joseph Eckrote and his wife Hattiett Reinhart. which would be Geralds father or grandfather.

Thanks
Sue

Hi i was wondering if you can put names to the faces in the group photo of this family and also if you know if Gerald Lee Eckrote and Gladys Purvis had a daughter named Nancy who married a Kincaid.

thanks

RE: Jesse Lanning
I'm finding the Jesse Stith Lanning branch a little frustrating because according to the late Ethel Albin's 1999 Lanning genealogy, he had an obituary that referred to him being survived by a wife and a child. But according to the 1900 census for his widow, who had returned to her father in Ohio, she didn't have any living children. I'm wondering if the child died or if the child was sent to live with relatives, as was the custom, so that Sarah could more easily remarry. I suspect that I'll have to locate an obituary for Sarah to figure that out.
