Catherine Adelia Luttrell Beard - you called her your aunt.

Hi, Scotty.
I see your good work every time I work on my husband's lines. I was wondering what you knew about this woman? She and her husband died in the same year. I wondered if they died in an accident together or something like that. I think I found his death date in February, but can find no record of her death. I will try to get a chance this weekend to look in a newspaper archive for accounts of their deaths. I will let you know if I find anything. In the meantime, if you know, I'd love to hear.

Same to you, Cousin Scotty. Hope you have a wonderful new Year as well.

Howard and Ione Smith
Never mind. I looked at the memorials and saw how easy it was and have already done it. I figured it would take me an hour to figure out how to do it.
Thanks again.

Howard and Ione Smith
Thanks for letting me know where they are buried. I'll get on it one day soon when Christmas is over and fix it.

I meant "fine," not "find."

Just a Thanks and a Tribute
I have noticed your name time and time and time again while working on my husband's genealogy. You do find work and save me a lot of time. Thank you.

RE: Etta Sullivan Sheetz cemetery

I'm sorry, I should have been a little more clear. A link to Patrick Sullivan would have at least gotten me to the right cemetery, which, for the record, is spelled "Sheets." That misspelling, coupled with calling her Etta Sullivan, not Iva Etta Sullivan, made it a little difficult to find even the right cemetery. There are 1,447 Patrick Sullivans currently listed in findagrave. Finding the right one is a little time-consuming, and that's why I asked for the link.

Anyway, her memorial is online now, along with pictures. If you'd like me to transfer her or any others, just let me know.

RE: Etta Sullivan Sheetz cemetery

The full name on her stone is Iva Etta Sullivan, and she lived from 1877 to 1966. I'm not related, so I can't provide any further information.

So as to not upset surviving members of the family, it's my policy not to post pictures online for graves less than 50 years old. However, I do have pictures, and I will gladly post them if I get a request from a family member.

Since not all "family tree caretakers" are direct descendants, I don't make that requirement. I only want to know that you are indeed deeply interested in documenting the family. After that, caretakers are in a better position to see that the information is handed down to the next generation than I am.

If you would like her pictures posted, please send me a request using the "Edit" button, and then "Suggest any other correction or addition."

Thomas Scott
Thanks for the postings of both Thomas Scott, Rev War Soldier and his wife Elizabeth Tucker Scott in Butler Co, Pa in Mt. Nebo Cemetery. As a result, I was able to obtain a copy of his will which included all 15 children by name. He is my g-g-g-g-grandfather. Heading to Butler 7-14-14. SuzyQ

Abigill Reynolds
You left me a message questioning the date of marriage for Dickeson Reynolds and Abigill (maiden name unknown) Reynolds. In the memorial for Dickeson, I had stated 1844 and it should have been 1804.

Thank you for calling this to my attention. Ann

John Loughney
McIntyres of PEI

I am descended from Murdoch McKinnon, Sarah McKinnon's brother. I have some information on this line and would be happy to share with you. I see you listed Sarah's father as Neil, which would make sense, but I haven't found any reference for it.

What would be the best way to share info?

RE: Info on Flora McIntyre McIntyre
The letter (1885) lists Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Catherine and Janet, according to a PEI genealogist and historian who has a copy. I assume she found it in the PEI archives. I would be glad to exchange information. Is there a less public means of doing so?

Info on Flora McIntyre McIntyre
On a trip to PEI's Northside this fall, I learned (from oral history) that Flora was the first wife of my great-grandfather, John McIntyre, and also the daughter of Angus McIntyre and Sarah McKinnon. The difficulty I've encountered is that Angus and Sarah's youngest son, Peter (later Bishop Peter) wrote a letter listing his five sisters, and there wasn't a Flora among them. Would you be able to point me toward any sources that would help to resolve the question of whether the Flora McIntyre who died in 1839 and is buried in St. Margaret's cemetery was in fact the daughter of Angus and Sarah? (Find A Grave Memorial# 38139334)
Many thanks!
