Bertha Major Bridges
Hi - Thank you for your work. Bertha Major Bridges is my maternal grandmother. Her middle name was Tyner and her maiden name Major, thus Bertha Tyner Major Bridges. I would appreciate that small change. I have connected her daughter, my mother, Nettie Carter Bridges Rivenbark to the profile. Thanks again,
Randi Rivenbark

Greetings and correction
Hi Joyce,

I am the granddaughter of Cecil Seldon Thomas, who is buried in the East End Cemetery (#70546510). I appreciate so much your creating the memorial. I did request an edit, though, as his middle name is Seldon, not Sheldon. Also, if you wanted to transfer this memorial to me, that would be great.

Thank you again!

Joyce,

I was able to visit Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Colorado Springs and photograph the grave marker

Claude Shaw
I am looking for a Claude Shaw in Colorado Spring, that was a police officer. Do you know any information on him, he was previously married to Mildred Nash. She died in 1950, so need to know if he remarried and if he is still alive or where he is buried. Thanks CL Boughton

Boyd to Monrow
OK, I connected Boyd to Monrow Loftin. I think what happened was I know where Nora was buried but not Monrow for a long time and then when I figured it out I forgot to link Boyd

Question on Daniel C. Shaw
Hey Joyce, do you have any more information on Daniel C. Shaw? My cousin linked his daughter Missouri to him with a burial unknown. Are you related? We are looking for her burial along with clarification of her children. If you have any info, please let me know!
I hope all is well!
Have a great day,
Brandy

Transfer of memorials
Joyce,
Thank you for linking the memorials for me. I would appreciate the transfer of 4 memorials, if you don't mind. They are Willie Earl Arwood #28521265, Joe Calhoun 338265190, Ambie Calhoun #38265247, and Evelyn Choate #37824318. I can keep up with them through the virtual cemeteries but it is easier to add information otherwise.
You have done a lot of great work here and it is really appreciated by me and many others, I'm sure. Claudia

RE: Bingham Transfers
So nice to "meet" a local graver. Too bad the weather had been so hot and now freezing. I haven't been out in awhile to "work" on adding memorials. If the weather would cooperate, I would like to get back at it.

Thank you for the photo.
Thank you for the photo of W W and Martha Potts' tombstone. They are my Great Grandparents and until recently, I did not know where they were buried. My mother thought they were buries at Pottsville. This is a great help.

re: Mrs. Cornelius Bridges of Trigg County
Hello there,

I am a descendant of Hardiman Dunning and recently came across a typed copy of the bible belonging to Levi Sholar Dunning that was shown to be in the possession of Mrs. Cornelius Bridges in 1960. Any knowlege of who owns this bible would be greatly appreciated because I would love to have a copy of the original for my genealogy research.

Thanks for linking them! I am using the virtual cemetery to keep up with everyone. There is no need to transfer anyone to me unless you just want to.

I do appreciate your offer and thank you for linking them for me!!

Re: Mary A Agee
Hello
I am sorry you received mixed messages, I am not sure why that happened except that I have been having a lot of computer and inter-net problems lately.
As far as the marker, I was unable to find it. It may be many reasons, it is unmarked, or marked by a stone, or the marker is worn and unreadable. You may put your request back up someone else may be able to find it. I know that I have missed markers, and I have also found ones that others have missed. It all depends on how long I have been out there, plus it is hot now. We try our best but sometimes it is not enough. Sorry for any problems this may have caused. K.L.W.

Jacksons in Stewart Cemetery (John Fry)
Hey Joyce, I was going to just do the edit tab on each, but thought this might be a bit easier! :)
I was wondering if you could link the following to their parents Thomas Levi Jackson #37996930 and mother Mary Alice Stewart Jackson #37996596:
Claude #28514018
George #28514262
John #28514038
Willie Martin #28514117
Addie Jackson Marlow #28513994

I would truly appreciate you linking them.
Thanks a million.

Grave of Robert Cole
Grave of Robert Cole, at Camp Beauregard Cemetery,
Graves County, Kentucky, USA.

You may have already been contacted by a cousin of mine. We believe this grave of Robert Cole of the 22nd Mississippi Regiment is our Great-grandfather's brother.
First, the inscription on the headstone reads Robert E. Cole; you have it as Robert C. Cole. Also our relative was a member of Company G but this headstone says company B. He did die at Camp Beauregard on Dec 1, 1861. However, his father signed for his back pay and Robert's body was buried at Black Hawk, MS.
Do you know who placed this headstone and when? I have found two other soldiers who served with Robert and also have headstones there.
You can view my account to see the other headstone in Black Hawk.

Virgil & DeAnna C. Cooley
Cadiz, KY!
Hi Joyce, I am Dee and this isn't genealogy related - it was just sort of exciting to see someone from Cadiz. We use to love going to Cadiz when we did our motor homing days while living in Memphis. I love antiques and love glass/dishes period and of course the Country Ham Festival in Oct... Oh I miss those events. Great place to visit - Cadiz, KY & of course LBL.
Happy Mothers Day!
