Helen Curran Sassano
On the pagel for Helen's grave, it states that she married James Sassano on Oct 5, 1948. They were married on Oct 25, 1948. I am their daughter.

Thank you for adding information. Through this site I have been able to find much history about my mother's family.

How would you like to receive his burial information?

Collins Family
Hi. We talked earlier about Jeremiah (Jerry) Collins. I wanted to asked if you had ever heard anything, any info at all, and I mean the tiniest scrap about the other siblings. I have not been able to track:
Joanna b. abt. 1860
Timothy (Jr) b. abt. 1863
Dennis(#2) b. abt. 1866 possibly died bef. 1880
Mary b. abt. 1870
Marilyn Collins

RE: Jerry
Hi yes I have all the data, like place of birth, off censuses and I even have his marriage date. But Delia didn't talk about him much to his kids and we don't have any other records of his.

Bridget Collins Curran
Bridget's dates are:
b. Feb 1858 Ridgeway, NY (1900 Census)
d. 12 JAN 1928 Ennis, TX (TX Death Index)

RE: Collins
Yes, he was called Jerry. I do not have his exact birth or death details. Censuses say birth 1868/9 and he was dead by 1905. His second son was born in 1902, so I know he died between 1902 and 1905. We do not know where he was buried. If you have any info I would appreciate it. I have been to Ennis to see the Curran plot with Timothy's marker. And the history of his grandson Timothy Curran being the oldest grave in the cemetery. I enjoyed learning that.

Timothy Collins and Bridget Curran, Ennis, TX
Hi, I see that you have the memorials for Timothy Collins and his daughter Bidget Catherine Collins Curran. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to link them to Abbey Collins as spouse of Timothy and mother of Bridget. Thanks in advance.
The Memorial #s are

Abbey Collins #72976866
Timothy Collins #38858572
Bridget Curran #38858389

They had 6 other children, including my husband's great grandfather, Jeremiah Collins (1868/9 to 1902-04), but I have as yet to find their death info /or graves. Will let you know if I do.
Thanks again.

Steve Kowalczyk

You posted a photo of my great great grandmother's grave stone at Gateway Gardens in St. Louis ( I was wondering if you could email me the high resolution version if you have it...
Thanks for your contribution!!

Gatewood Gardens
Gatewood Gardens is in somewhat better condition than it had been. However the St. Louis parks employees do not really understand cemetery maintenance. The do now have some mowing machines that are more suitable for cemetery mowing -- not those huge tractors that damaged so many markers. HAVE FUN with your research!

Erwin & Louise Unverferth
Would you be interested in managing the memorials for Erwin & Louise Unverferth?
(Find A Grave Memorials 85390935 & 85391193.)

They are buried in the same Gatewood Gardens lot [Section: G Lot: 21] with your Hoffmeister memorials.) I am NOT related and do NOT know of them -- I am just assisting with an ongoing photo inventory of Gatewood Gardens.

Austin Fisher
Sorry the picture of Austin Fisher's marker is so poor. It is actually under a large bush. Next to Austin's marker there is another marker for J.V. Fisher. It is very worn and I could not make out any other information.

I always add the obit picture when available. My thinking is that family members who made the arrangements and provided the obit, liked the picture well enough to include it. Hope you are okay with it. She was an attractive person.
