Herman Myers - Southside
I'm sure there was a photo for the memorial of Herman Myers as I established memorials from photos - however, I have long ago deleted them from my computer. So sorry I 'goofed' on this one.

RE: Horace and Harriet Wheat
You are very welcome. I see that you have created a memorial for Harriet. I have been out of town, I will add the photo to hers as well. I will also get you some info on their birth and death dates. I should be able to do it on Monday.

Horace Wheat Photo Request
There was not a headstone for Horace Wheat. I added a photo of the area with text to show were the grave is.

RE: Eva Siebert
Here is the phone number for the cemetery office. They can be hard to get a hold of: 763-537-4184. I'll change her name to Eva K. Let me know if you find any more definitive information

I have an edit from you and want to check on the last name. Is it Sieber or Siebert (with a t on the end?)

Thanks

Eva Siebert
Hi
I've done a lot of the work for St Anthony Cemetery in Minneapolis. I see you have a photo request. According to the book I have I don't see a headstone or marker description so I don't believe she has one. Can't check now because of the snow. However, it may interest you that a note that the name is Eva R Siebert but that the name Catherine Siebert was written over the entry in the interment book, but the name Eva is in the lot book. It might help you as well if you call the cemetery and see if they can tell you who bought or owns the lot. Hope this helps
Leslie

Hello,
I accidently found your photo on Find A Grave. Thank You soooo much for adding the photo you took, to Find a grave. She is my great grand aunt. She is the stepsister to my great grandmother, Geneva (Odekirk) Mowrey) I have been looking for her date of death and where she was buried for a long time.
Do you know if she is buried next any other family members? Perhaps Husband.

May I use a copy of it for my private tree?

This is incredible and greatly appreciated!

Would you please take your headstone photo out for me- I put the new one of her new death date there. (Your photo has no death date on it) She was my mother. I really appreciate it. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the work you have done in Bellevue. It is so rewarding to me personally to find these relatives because of the generosity of someone like you. I hope that I can find the descendents and have a family reunion!

Sounds good. I will leave both memorials, as you say both are correct. I will just put family links on one set I am ready to do that. Thanks again for the transfers and helpful advice.

Jahns in Troy Hill cemetery
Hi Donna,

Thank you for making that correction and, yes, if you don't mind transferring the Jahns over to me, that would be good. I think I may have found their parents' graves over the weekend and if I can confirm that, I will be able then to link them to their parents. Smithfield EE did have a record for H Otto and I did create a memorial for him there based on that, not realizing you already had one at Troy Hill. Do you think I ought to leave them both (since you are documenting Troy Hill burials) or not? It seems like many of the Troy Hill records did not get duplicated at Smithfield/Homewood.

Jahns in Troy Hill cemetery
Thank you so much for the information you provided me re the Jahns in Troy Hill cemetery. I looked at the Pgh death records as you suggested and found that Francis Wm Jahn was a brother of my great-grandfather. So I now have one of the names of the graves I am looking for at Homewood/Smithfield East End. Hopefully I will be able to locate them. The Mathilda John you have is indeed the daughter of John and Elizabeth Jahn of Sheridan section of Pittsburgh, cousins of my great-grandfather. She is on the 1870 census as being born in 1868, so that would make her 4 in 1872 and matches the age in the death record. If you would please change her name to Jahn on your memorial 87485098. Thank you.

Troy Hill cemetery
Hi, I was wondering about your source for the memorials you added for this cemetery. I am looking for some ancestors whose graves were removed from there to Homewood/Smithfied East End. (I have a Pgh Post-Gazette article that documents it.) However the Homewood Cemetery folks did not give me any records that matched what I expected. The name I am looking for is Jahn, two adult women and two young children. I was thinking my best bet might be to try to look for church records. Do you another suggestion? I would be grateful for any help you might have.

Hi! And thanks for contacting us. Do you have any information about Ludgardus? In the census, it lists this Urban's wife as Loretta.

I have an obit for the Urban who's dates I used, but it doesn't specifically say where he was buried.

Any further help you can provide would be great.

Mary

RE: Baehr Photos
Hello again, just wanted to confirm after revisiting the cemetery that there isn't a headstone with Christian M. or Katherine Baehr's name on it. I doublechecked the burial records, which show Christian (the Elder) in C-8-1 and his wife Augusta in the abutting C-12. Christian M. is in C-8-1 (annotated "C8, W1/2, 1N") and Katherine in C-8-2 (also with odd annotations "C8, 2-2FR-NL" which I'm guessing refers to "from north line". The "C" section marker is north of the Baehr memorial stone.
Confusing, huh?

RE: Baehr Photos
Hi Donna, I was a little slow on the uptake realizing taht the pictures I'd gotten were for the wrong Baehr family. The sun is shining here today and I'm going to get back out to reshoot the pix and will upload them later. Sorry for the mix-up!
