Would you kindly transfer Memorial# 154388408 to me? I went online to put her memorial on and you had already posted her. Hazel was my double aunt - so like a 2nd mother to me. I am also the family historian. If you need authorization from her daughter, I will have her post a message to you that it is okay. Thank you very much.

Trust me, Mike, I will never "take offense" when someone sets me straight about anything. If we're serious (but not gloomy) about this stuff, then we have to get it right! And I feel much better now that I know that someone is monitoring this situation. It would be nice, however, if one of those cemeteries would change its name! Keep up the good work! Tom

Hi Mike! Thanks for the heads up. I just checked the Gravesite Locator and you are indeed correct. I will be deleting my dupe shortly. But have you or someone else checked for other duplicates here? The similarity in cemetery names has certainly lead to more than a few, I would guess. Regarding wife Frances who died in 2014, both the obit in the Kansas City STAR and the one on the funeral home's website said she was to be buried in "Leavenworth National Cemetery". I will have to exercise more care in the future. Thanks again!

|Judy Robinson||Thomas G Leitch, Mem#39213702|
Sorry I didn't have this information when I left my earlier message. I have one correction: Fredericksburg is now an independent city in Virginia, but at the time of his birth it was Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania Co, VA. I have no way to attach his death certificate (Missouri 34967) but wanted to let you know that the informant gave the name Frances GLASS as his mother, almost right---her mother's maiden name was Glass. I mention this because several online FTs name her Frances Minor. Eleanor Glass md. James Robinson, d. abt 1817 in Virginia. James and Eleanor are my 3rd great grandparents. I haven't found a death record of any kind for Frances Robinson Leitch.

About this individual: The original of his MO Death Certificate clearly, especially if it is known that his father, named on the Certificate, is Daniel F Duerson. He is not really related to me or my Robinson family---in fact he is the step-son of the step-daughter (Ellen Leitch) of my 3rd great aunt,Frances Robinson who md Ellen's father James Leitch. Sometimes I get carried away with tracking down collateral relatives, even if they're "steps." The Informant named is Charles Robinson,nephew of Frances Robinson Leitch, Daniel's step-cousin, with whom he resided in 1920. I don't know where his parents are buried (they apparently died within a year of his birth.)I found a Court Record filed in 1856 at Historic Court Records, Fredericksburg, VA, which shows Daniel F Duerson, spouse of Ellen Leitch Duerson, was suing over possession of a property (land) that was part of the Estate of Ellen's father.
I notice that you've made Memorials for several of my Robinson relatives and that they are among the thousands of Memorials you've contributed to Find A Grave. Thank you so much for your work.
BTW I'm not sure why Ancestry IDs him as stepson of Ellen Leitch - he was born after her apparent Marriage, but you never know.
