Thank you so much for the transfers and taking the pictures of the graves. I'm trying to make all the family connections, with the work you have done mine is a much easier task.

Change J M Cross's name
Your memorial for James Mack Cross is incorrect namewise.
He is Jiley Mack Cross.
His tombstone reads J M Cross.
Can you change it?
Thanks, Susan

Transfer Ammons please
Hi, if it's possible could you transfer these two memorials to me.
Find A Grave Memorial # 39115132 Dorothy D E BRIGHT AMMONS
Find A Grave Memorial # 39115558 John Dorriss Ammons

They are a direct line. I'd like to coordinate and link the various family together. If not, i'll figure how to get the info to you if you don't mind. Sorry i need to post; new computer and don't know how to configure for sending via this site.
thanks in advance.

Christian Iske
I was so happy to see the photo of Christian Iske. Do you happen to know if there are any photos of his wife, Sophia Hartwig Iske? I would love to have any information you can offer on them. Thank you.

Looper Family Research

My 3rd Great Grandfather was named Eli Looper (1810 - 1880). He was born in North Carolina, but I have not been able to determine exactly where.

The earliest census record that I am comfortable attributing to Eli is from 1860 when he and his wife Paulina lived in Wilkes County, North Carolina.

There is an 1850 Census record for Eli Looper that places him in a house hold with a Joseph Looper and a Selina Looper (who I think may actually be Paulina).

This census record is from Alexander North Carolina where many of your Looper descendants are from. I am curious if an Eli Looper has come up in any of your research? I am hoping to be able to determine where the Loopers immigrated from.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Anna Knauss Clewell
Thank you for sending the links for Anna. Apparently we are distant cousins through my husband (this would be his 3rd great grandmother)! I've always wondered about the correctness of Anna's middle name Johanna --- would you know more? Thanks!

Hicklin C. Powell
Hardy G. Powell is my ggg-grandfather. His son was Hicklin C. Powell. His daughter was Verna Powell. I am trying to find where Hicklin is buried. I know he died Feb.10, 1960 in Baldwin Co., but his residence was in Bainbridge. I am guessing he died in a nursing home or maybe one of his children's homes. So I thought maybe he was buried the same place as Hardy, but I figured you would have taken a picture if he was actually there. Do you know this name from your research? He is sometimes listed as Hick, Hicks, Hickland, or Hicklin A. If you stumble across his gravesite, please let me know!

Thanks,
Christi

Thank you for all you do. I am researching Samuel Looper. Your picture shows that the Tombstone had 16 Aug 1931 I just wanted it noted that the death Certificate and Tennesse Death Index say 28 Aug 1931 If anyone knows which is right I would like to know. lindamfeinauer@live.com

Baynham Family Graves
I am still trying to locate some more children of Vic and Thomas Baynham. According to my family history several other members of this Baynham family were buried at this same cemetery. Did you happen to see any other markers located possibly near the ones you just posted?

Thanks so much for your help and time!

RE: Roop family
It's not that I am not interested, I am not a family member at all. However a very good friend of mine is direct decendant of Abraham and Susanna Hurst Roop. Emma's brother, Abraham, is her great great grandfather. Is that direct enough for you? Or would you prefer to keep looking? I am sure she would be happy to receive it.

Can't it be handled via email? Is there a memorial(s) that you may want transfered?

Find A Grave Memorial# 16518264 Question
Find A Grave Memorial# 16518264
Pennsylvania, Church and Town Records, 1708-1985 about Maria Catharine Roeder Knauss Weiser
Name: Maria Catharine Roeder Knauss Weiser
Birth Date: 14 Mar 1720
Event Type: Burial
Burial Date: 19 Feb 1786
Burial Place: Emmaus, Lehigh, Pennsylvania
Father Name: John Adam Roeder
Mother Name: Catharine Tauber Roeder
Spouse Name: John Henry Knauss
Organization Name: Old Moravian Cemetery

The above woman has the same vital information as Findagrave # 16518264 but the above woman was buried at "Old Moravian Cemetery" and # 16518264 was buried at God's Acre Cemetery. Both cemeteries are in Emmaaus Lehigh PA.

Old Moravian Cemetery website below lists only one Knauss assuming this is a complete name listing.
http://www.interment.net/data/us/pa/lehigh/emmaus_moravian.htm
Howard Knauss died in 1951

1, Is the Old Moravian Cemetery the same as the God's Acres Cemetery?

2. Did you physically see the grave# 16518264 at God's Acre Cemetery? If so, the document above is in error assuming the two women are the same woman.

3. Can you provide the web link on the FindAgrave note page where you found the God's Acre burial name listing?

Thank you in advance for your consideration of this matter.
