Wrong St. Marys
I'm so sorry, the information in the previous reply is for St Mary's in Algiers. I just realized the one you are referring to is Uptown New Orleans. I googled St Mary Cemetery, New Orleans and got:

(504) 363-1577

It is on Spruce St.

Hope this was more helpful than the last :(

Another thing you might try if that number is no good is calling some of the funeral homes around town and asking them. I would think they would have contact info for all cemeteries to plan burials.

RE: Help with 102563286
Hello, this cemetery is two blocks from my house so any other photos you need just ask. I dug around a little bit and found this information:

It is maintained by the Church of the Holy Name of Mary (parish founded in 1848, church built in 1929)500 Eliza Street, Algiers, LA 70114
504-367-3504
The Archives office (extension #3) is open Tuesday & Thursday, 9:30 am-2:30
pm.
They will do look-ups for a "donation" of $10.00

I found that info at:
http://www.usgwarchives.net/la/orleans/cemetery.htm#mary about three quarters of the way down.

under St Mary (Algiers) there is a line item "St Mary's History"

Hope this helps! Let me know if I can help with anything else.

RE: 102563286
I'm sorry but we just stumbled on St Mary's when visiting New Orleans so decided to photograph several of the tombs. I honestly don't know any more than you do about it.

Very probable, you can call or email them and they should reply within the week.

Thanks

RE: St. Mary or Carrollton Cemetery
Hello Gene Data

I don't have any information on St. Mary Cemetery. The information I have for memorial 102563286, including interment location, is from the Times-Picayune obituary published 19 FEB 1968.

There are two photographs on the Find A Grave page for St. Mary Cemetery. Each photograph has a link to the contributor who posted the picture. Perhaps they can provide you with information about St. Mary Cemetery.

Unfortunately I have nothing further on this individual. I did see on the Kenton County Public Library's online index that there is an article 'Richard Evans - His Death Expected' in the Kentucky Post, January 16, 1897, p. 5. I don't know if that deals with your relative or not, but it might be worth investigating.
