Not sure at all - that part is just going by what is on Find A Grave. Should I contact the person who submitted it?

RE: Sedner
Aha. I thought maybe we were related... but I think we're just related to people who are related lol. Anyway, if you find out different, I would love to know. Thanks for all of your work.

Are you related to them?

RE: Sedner
Hi - I have no idea! It's very bizarre. Levi Edward Sedner died 16 March 1925 in NY at the age of 48. He is buried in Oneonta Plains Cemetery. I was thinking that they put a monument up in your cemetery for him, since his wife is there? Maybe they didn't know his name? maybe Sydney was a nick name? :-p I have many census, obit, and other family trees that confirm their marriage. It is weird. This is my entry for him on my tree. He is my 2x great uncle. Son of Walter Sedner / Sidener and Frances A Tucker.

You may want to capitalize the "S" in her maiden name. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. At least you did it. I've sent out many requests that the contributor never even looks at it. Not really a big deal, just thought you would like to know.

Again, I really appreciate you doing this for me.

Best regards,

RE: Cameron, Saint Agnes Cemetery, Menands NY
My wife's grandmother was a Cameron from the Antigonish area. There were several John Camerons in the family (not that the name is uncommon...), so I wondered.

I added pictures for Edith Cameron and Edna Cameron Bub. I also have a picture of a small flat stone for "Evelyn" if you want it.

Are there any Nova Scotia connections for your Cameron family?

Maybe you know the answer to: Which birth year is correct?

The grave marker for Jacob L. Snyder clearly reads born 10 Oct 1793; however, when I went to the Westville Baptist Churchyard Cemetery site, here is what I found for this family:

Chauncelaer Snyder 17 Oct 1824-18 Nov 1895
Drusilla P. Snyder 27 Jan 1825-2 May 1892 Wife of Chauncelaer
(nee SAXTON)
Jacob L. Snyder 10 Oct 1789-10 Jan 1868
Jerusha Snyder 16 May 1797-8 Apr 1882 Wife of Jacob L. (nee COATS)
Elbert M. Snyder 17 Dec 1829-29 Dec 1846

Thanks for your help,

I was looking at the record of Henry J Steinbach Jr and the death date is stated as May 1 1877. I believe that is supposed to be 1977. It looks like the Henry on the headstone is the husband of Clara and she died in the 1979.

Could you please check and change it if it is incorrect.

Thanks for all you do.

I'm not sure where "Aged 92 years" came from but, according to census records she would have been around 32 years old when she died. Maybe the 9 is really a 3.

Memorial# 40609869
I was wondering if you could correct the death date for Memorial# 40609869. You have his death as June 24, 1805 but, if you look at the tombstone picture closely you'll see that he was "born" on June 24, 1805 and died on a date that is unreadable as it is on the tombstone that is now buried below the ground. The 1805 "birth" date also supports other evidence such as census records, etc.
