I was looking at the record of Henry J Steinbach Jr and the death date is stated as May 1 1877. I believe that is supposed to be 1977. It looks like the Henry on the headstone is the husband of Clara and she died in the 1979.
Could you please check and change it if it is incorrect.
Thanks for all you do.

I'm not sure where "Aged 92 years" came from but, according to census records she would have been around 32 years old when she died. Maybe the 9 is really a 3.

I was wondering if you could correct the death date for Memorial# 40609869. You have his death as June 24, 1805 but, if you look at the tombstone picture closely you'll see that he was "born" on June 24, 1805 and died on a date that is unreadable as it is on the tombstone that is now buried below the ground. The 1805 "birth" date also supports other evidence such as census records, etc.

You are welcome.
I am not related to that Richards family.
When people request corrections I update the memorials at the same time. That way I can validate the information and/or corrections.
Glad to have helped.

Thank you for the obituary for Jean Hosley. If you are a relative/friend or would like, I will gladly transfer this memorial to you.
(PS do you know where she died or which county in which Sand River is located? I added the county for the River. In 1916 there were many more small communities where there were train stops or small stores. I think this was in Hubbard County but am not sure.)

|Shelly||George C. Groat in Middlefield Center Cemetery|
Hello. I wanted to say thank you for the photo of the grave stone of George C. Groat located in Middlefield Center Cemetery which you posted on Findagrave.com.
As for your photo ... may I have permission to post it (and any other of your photos of my ancestors' and/or their graves that you may have posted or will post in the future) on my Ancestry.com file. I post a message under the photo giving credit to the person who took the photo. I have no interest in publishing any books or using the photos in any way other than for genealogical purposes. I have several things I post under the photos depending on the "owner" of the photo's desires. I have two below ... if you will allow me to post your grave photos on my Ancestry file then I'll place the statement of your choice. The second one has a _____ in it and that's where I would place your e-mail address so people can contact you directly for permission.
NOTE: This photo was obtained from a Findagrave.com photo volunteer and the volunteer has kindly given me permission to post this on my Ancestry.com file. You should take the steps to contact the owner of the photo for permission to use this photo for your personal use ... permission is NOT granted by me for any use as it is not mine to give.

I was referring to the birth and death (location) information at the very top. When you are searching through a whole list of potential memorials, not having to read the complete bio's for dates and places is a great tool from Find A Grave.
Thanks for writing!
