I am a descendent of Asa Pettengill. You manage a memorial for an Asa Pettengill that is linked to my other ancestors, however I have never seen any confirmation as to his place or date of death. You also have him linked to children we have not found listed before. I'm not saying it's wrong - I'll be thrilled with the information if it is correct. Can you tell me where you came by the information? That way I can determine if this is indeed 'my' Asa? Thank you very much.

Hi...which Patriot did you go into DAR under? I realize you are not a Bradford. I went in under Benanuel Bonfoy (different spellings too) His daughter, Concurrence Bonfoy Bradford, was my 6th gen. descendant under Wm. Bradford. She married Robert W. Bradford.
I love genealogy. :o)

I am sending them along...I have two or three. They are very tiny tin type photos. If you have Photo Shop, you may be able to enlarge the prints and the printed info. :o) If you are able to enlarge them, please let me know and send copies to my private email. firstname.lastname@example.org and include Ansel Bradford in comments.
Thanks so much.

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I had re-photographed the cemetery, after being not so happy with my original wintery pics, and had uploaded hundreds that day, pretty much every headstone. Maybe I was little tired. It is in fact his son's photo and you will find the identical photo on his memorial. I will get out my external drive and find Daniel's proper photo. Jim

Visually it's hard to read. Second, inscriptions should be listed line by line. Much easier to read.

|Brad Johnson||Stephen Johnson of Hadley (1762-1845)|
Thank you so much for your dedicated work.
I don't see any way that Stephen Johnson of Hadley is the son of Isaac and Abigail Shipman Johnson instead of Isaac and Elizabeth Beal Johnson, given that
1) there is a record of Stephen being born to Isaac & Elizabeth
2) Isaac & Elizabeth repaired to Hadley and they and Stephen are buried in Hockanum Cemetery.
3) Isaac of Isaac & Elizabeth was born c 1735 whereas Isaac of Isaac & Abigail was born 1731.

Good Day, I have been searching for family for just a short time & I have stumble across that you added one for Beckmann, the grave memorial # is 40565742 you added the record back in August of 2009. I was wondering if you saw any other Beckmann's in the same Cemetery? I have a Aunt that is buried there I think, her name would is Ruth Virginia Beckmann (maybe spelt like Beckman)her Birth 9 Feb 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Death 2 Nov 1929 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. I was in hopes that if you live close that maybe you could take a look for me. I am from Kansas that is why I am asking you.
Thank you for your time

Tell me a little about how you decided she was in Northampton and not buried in California, if you would. I have found a great-great-grandson out there who says he paid for a stone a few years ago!

|CCR||How did oyu know Torkshire England for Benjamin NOrth|
Your work on this site has been so invaluable to me. I have also been putting in graves at the bridge Street Cemetery for some of my family and am so thankful that you were able to capture inscriptions that are no longer legible.
I have a question on this site:
How did oyu know he was from "Idle, West Yorkshire, England"
He is my great great great great grandfather. I have been trying to trace him before he moved to America and your entry is my only link to this past.
Thank you so much for your help with this and also thank you for the countless numbers of sites you have captured and documented - your work has been so incredibly helpful and is so valuable to preserving our history.

|Jan D||RE: Duplicate stone for John Church|
P.K., Thanks for your note about the possiby duplicate memorials for John Church. I saw the one that 'the moo' posted, but if you look at the photos, the stones are quite different. One has a shorter arch and the other is a fair bit taller. I'm mapping that cemetery for the historical commission. This is one of the few stones that has a 'back side' with different information than the front side. (43160658, 137554333) Tricky to read them sometimes. ;)

|dpalmateer||Emily L Angell Merritt Grave Question|
My third great grandfather is Hezekiah Weeks (1813-1900) who married Minerva Angell (1820-1871). I am seeking a connection with Minerva to Emily L Angell Merritt whos grave you put on this great website. Minerva and Emily are both buried at Norwich Bridge Cemetery. Are they buried close to each other by chance? Are there any cemetery records to possibly link them as sisters? I also wanted to ask you where did you get the information that Emily's parents are Lewis and Lucy Angell? I would love to get that information collaborated. Are Lewis and Lucy Angell from NY or MA? All records I am finding for a Lewis and Lucy Angell are from NY. Have you run across any graves of a Lewis or Lucy Angell in MA? Any insight you may give would be very helpful to my research. Thank you for your time!
