Eric Ackerman
RE: PFC Walter H Mcfarland (# 56762064)
I apologize for the lateness of my reply...Thank you for your message. I like to add some of this information to our WWII soldier's Find-A-Grave memorials so that people know a little bit about where they came from and the circumstances behind their death. Both sides of my family tree had soldiers killed and missing from WWII and I do this to honor them.

Thank you, Eric

Anton Steiner
I have added an obit for Anton Steiner in St. Charles cemetery. Noticed he is your ancestor. Could you tell me if he was a civil war veteran. I can find no evidence that he was, but someone said he was.

Barbara McGinnis Raemer
Mary Brown Peone Cemetery
You have a photo request for Mary Brown in Peone Cemetery, Spokane Co., WA. If this Mary Brown is the daughter of Maggie Brown and Gilbert Brown and with her mother, then there is no marker. Maggie is buried next to her sister and brother in the McGinnis lot. Martha Ellen Cary McGinnis and John B Cary. According to my database Mary A Brown was born ca Oct 1895, probably on Green Bluff, Spokane, and she did not die in 1907. gilbert and Mary moved to Oregon, he died in 1906 and she was on the 1910 Census, ward of Charles Stanard. in the Green Bluff Heritage book she married a Herb Murray, had children and lived in Idaho.
I can be reached at
Barbara (McGinnis)Raemer, 1st cousin to Mary A. Brown

Nancy and Justice Moore
Hello 3rd cousin twice removed in-law!

Me and my husband went to Hocking Hills for vacation last week and were able to take the pictures of Justice and Nancy Moore. (Justice and Nancy are my Great-Great-Great Grandparents, I am a descendant of Lillian and Elmer Moore)

They are in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, Ohio(I sent a SAC with some other information as well). They are in the same lot as Nancy's brother John Shannon and his wife as well as Nancy and Justice's son Philip Monroe Moore. I added some photos to help show where they are, along with the gps coordinates.

Take care,

Browns and Nelson
Hi Adrienne...received this email asking me to pass along this info to you!

Hello Pamela,
While researching on the FindAGrave website, I saw your note regarding Maggie Brown and infant from earlier this year.
My Father-in-law is the grandson of Roy Brown and great-grandson of Maggie; also follows that he is the grandson of Mary
Nelson and great grandson of Sylvester Nelson.
I also noted while on the website that an "AdrienneM" left notes on Roy's and Mary's pages, indicating she was related to them.
Would ir be possible for you to pass along my name and this info to AdrienneM? Would love to exchange info with her, especially as
relates to Roy and Mary.
Thanks for your help.

Harriet Newton
There is a gravestone at Mountain View Cemetery for Harriet D. Newton, b. 1872, d. 1906, wife of Frederick Newton. The date of death listed on Find A Grave is 1904.

Could this be your Harriet? If so, I'll post a picture - just want to be sure it's right.

I just wanted to say Thank you for getting the pic of Jenny's marker. I went to school with her in elmentary. I remember that time when she went missing and found few days later as we both were entering 7th grade that year and I was SHOCKED when it happened to someone I knew. Again, Thank you!

Thank you for going beyond what was asked. I only requested the photo of Olive Stewart. I didn't know for sure where John was buried so I didn't request the photo. It was great that you took the inititive to photograph John Stewart's headstone and also add his name to the list and correct me on the burial location. It is these kinds of efforts that make the world a better place.

Adrienne and son,

Wow, thanks for the pictures and the correction to the burial location for the Finley's. Without the help of you and many other volunteers things like this would be impossible. Great Job!!
