Thank you for your information Linda. The Rebecca in question and the infant Frank may have been part of that family, but the burial location of Isaac's wife is now presently unknown and to be determined. Thank you again, and best. Scott

Hi Linda, please forgive me as I jumped the gun moments ago. I requested a grave marker photo only to realize after the fact that her grave is unmarked. I hope my request goes to you so that you can dismiss it out right. I do have a question however, which has to do with how the information was obtained on her Find A Grave memorial regarding her date of death if there is nothing there to read? She was my 3rd GG and she did not die until 1900, as I have her memorial card saved by her daughter, Martha Luella DAVIS//Alkire. I guess I'm trying to figure out if this is my Rebecca Davis's grave, or not. Thank you for any information you can offer. S

Yes, my research shows they are all related. I have submitted requests to link then on Find A Grave. Your comment did held in my research though.

Linda, you would be going above and beyond the call of duty, but if you are ever near the site, a close up and one from 2-3 ft. away in a resolution of 200 or 300 of Fannie's inscription would be wonderful. Thank you. Steve

RE: Hamshaw plot
One last question. Re: Fannie M. Hamshaw's inscription on the large monument, with a good, clear, high resolution photo, I can do a lot with Photo Shop to make out previously illegible text. On the other hand, sometimes you just have to throw in the towel...did it appear to you that the text below her name/dates was legible to the eye or was just too weathered to be deciphered? Just for the heck of it, here is a link to Fletcher and Fannie's
page on our family history website:

Hamshaw plot
Linda, so the monument has the information, then there are the small stones...looks like 1 says "Father" and the other says "Fannie M."; is that right? Is there 1 that says "Mother"? Thank you very much for your help.

RE: Hamshaw in Lone Fir
Linda, thanks for your message. I went back and looked more closely at the photo of the small white stone I referred to (sent to me recently by a Hamshaw relative) and it's really just an over exposed close up of the side of Fannie's side of the large monument. Thanks for clarifying that. Is there is any way to take a photo of that side so the inscription on the lower half can be read? Question: does the inscription being on a particular side of a monument indicate the person is buried on that side? Thanks again.

Thanks for the info Linda. Frederikke Henningsen is my great-aunt. I don't think that those two Henningsen's are relatives of hers. At least I don't have a connection yet. Is there a way to get a photo of the area she is buried in? I understand there is not headstone. Thank you, Gail Rasmussen Cassel.
