|Linda Ellis||Beulah Cemetery|
All your memorial's in the Beulah Cemetery you requested photo's for, have no headstones..
When we recorded the cemetery we added names that we knew were buried there, but were not marked.
There are numerous unreadable funeral home markers in this cemetery.

|Bearkat91||Hiram Franklin Meador 1914-1978|
His death certificate has him buried in Eastlawn Memorial Park in Brown County, Texas. Someone created a memorial with a photo of his and his wife's headstone in that cemetery...so I'm wondering if this memorial is wrong or if his body was transferred from Brown County to Dickens since his family members are buried there? Hiram's brother, Gussie, is buried in Eastlawn as well.

|Kris||RE: Jonas Meador|
Hello Rock Talker!
Just curious, what line of the Meador clan do you follow that leads to Jonas? Are you in MO? I've traced two lines of Meadors in SW MO, Timothy and Goldman Greene. I follow the Goldman line. Looking forward in sharing notes.

|Suzanne Schroeder Enlow||Meador Cemetery|
What a wonderful job you did on adding graves from the Meador Cemetery. I hadn't looked at this side of my husbands family in quite some time but got some questions from a nephew so just Googled her name and then clicked on the Find a Grave link. Charlotte Epperson Meador (1870 - 1920)& Albert N. Meador (1863 - 1935) are my husbands great grandparents. I see that you are a Meador, I am willing to share what I have of Lottie & Alberts descendants if you are interested. I also have a photo of Lottie & her daughters shortly before her death if you would like.

|D.C.||McMurtrey Cemetery/Sebastian Co., AR|
Got a note from a friend on McMurtery Cemetery. I know you photographed the stone. Here is what she had to say: "As you know from our conversation yesterday, Looper Auctions (www.looperauction.com) has an upcoming auction of a large, multi-tract parcel of land on Thursday, June 20, 2013. The acreage has 6 contiguous tracts in Sebastian County, Arkansas and 1 contiguous tract (to those) hugging the state line but over in LeFlore County, Oklahoma -- for a total of (436 acres). The map with the auction listing shows how the tracts have been divided.
From the description given on their web site (see Upcoming Auctions and scroll down to the date - the words COURT ORDERED -- no further information about that in the information from Looper -- are across the top) the descriptives included Fatum Lane and Indian Rock Road, so bells and whistles went off in my head. As I explained, my direct line kin, GGG-GM Rebecca HARBERT TITCHENAL McMURTREY, wife of W.H. McMURTREY, (and mother of my GG-GM Mary Ellen TITCHENAL FALCONER McCARRON and her younger sister, Sarah TITCHENAL HACKETT along with other children) is buried there, although apparently without a headstone still existent. Mr. McMurtrey, the landowner in that area near the James Fork River, is also buried there, with a headstone. He was her second husband.
I accessed the Sebastian County cemeteries index to refresh my memory RE McMurtrey Cemetery, located SE of Hackett City, to get a more precise location than when we were on the road near it many years ago. Photos of some of the headstones have since been added, but there is not a specific map that pinpoints its location. And from the aerial map on google, I am having difficulty finding "a grove of walnut trees.rom the Sebastian County records, I have 2 names that seem to be larger landholders on the section of Indian Rock Road where it intersects with Fatum Lane (also called South Street on the googlemapping). They are Linda NULL and William and Mary Elizabeth COLLIER. I found that William "Bill" Collier died several years ago, and the land (or parts of it) may be in the hands of a daughter and son whose name appears to be William S. (also written as W. Steve) COLLIER.
My concern (and hope) is that the McMurtrey Cemetery NOT BE LOCATED on private land about to be sold, so that I am not back in the c. 1985 situation concerning the Falconer Cemetery on Mill Creek Road aka Phoenix Avenue (on the Coca-Cola FS property) and faced with filing a lawsuit on a new owner's plans to destroy it."
Can you pinpoint the direction/person who owns land to Mr. David L. Dunagin at email@example.com
