Thomas H Magruder grave
I am a direct descendent of Thomas H Magruder and have visited Bloom Grove Cemetery in K3 county where I'm fairly certain he was buried, and not in Van Meter. I believe I saw a stone marking his grave upon my first visit there, during my grandfather, Earl's, burial. Thomas's grave was to the left of his son George's grave where I saw a new stone for George and Dora (Isadore McIntosh) when I attended my father, Allen Wade Magruder's, burial. In back of that stone, I observed remnants of an older marker for George's grave. Unfortunately, only a worn path covered Thomas's grave site, but further evidence can be found in the Bloom Grove section of the Rockville Township Cemetery which shows Dora in grave 30, George in grave 31, and a 2 site gap listing the grave of Gertrude Gruber in Row 10, Grave 27. My father's grave is in Row 10, Grave 38 with other descendents of Thomas in row 10 between 31 and 38. There is evidence that Thomas's wife, Susan Ann Rouse, is buried in Van Meter, however, as she outlived Thomas by 11 years. I documented the history of Thomas H. Magruder's family in a booklet "The Magruders of Kankakee County, Illinois, 1844-1923" and can be found in the K3 genealogy section of the K3 library.

RE: David Marr
Hello not sure if I replied to you e-mail, sorry if I didn't, sometimes I just don't see them.
Anyways if this is the right David Marr born 1790 (this is my son's tree) By looking at the tree he would be related to Hulda Martin who is from Williams Martin's first marriage. My son's relations are from Williams second marriage. Hope this helps

RE: David Marr
This is my sons tree and Margaret Marr's husband is where my son's relatives are from
Have you ever went into Family Search, it is done through the Mormons in the States. The reason I ask is that someone has done a tree in there on David Marr and this person has birth dates for the all the children.
It is free and sometimes I find info in there that Ancestry doesn't have.
Have a nice day Susan

Catherine Bond
There is another Catherine Bond in that cemetery. She was probably the mother of the two sons. You might want to contact the contributor who manages the sons' memorials to correct the links.

RE: Bill J. Craft
I'm sorry but I don't know anything about this person. Perhaps someone will add a photo of the grave and the headstone will give his wife's name, also. You might check back in about six months to see.

Martha Drake
I took pleasure in taking that photo. I looked around while I was there and took photos of the other Drakes as well, including Sanford (presumably your great grandfather), Ira Drake (their son, I think) and Eula (Ira's wife - according to some sources, her maiden name was Eula M. Cross)

The cemetery and little chapel are well maintained with a few trees, and completely surrounded by University of Georgia School of Agriculture fields. It is a nice place to visit.

Have you yet gotten any information on Alma Aderholdt? I do have a copy of the will of BB Hawks, plus a few pictures of the old homeplace, which was torn down to build a CVS.
I would love to exchange information with you.
