You are a nice person
Just wanted to say I've noticed your work in the North East cemetery and I think you are a very good, loving person.

St John the Divine Cemetery
Saw your comment on Margaret Simon in this cemetery. I added a picture of the cemetery today. It is on the west side of Hannon Road about .4 mile south of US Route 20. Note, the cemetery is fenced in.

Send corrections to me
Please send corrections or additional information to me and I will gladly update them.

I have transferred quite a few memorials over the past few months to you for the sole purpose of updating them. At least that is what the request being sent is suggesting. While I don't mind giving memorials to people, giving several at a time, a few times a month is something I will no longer do.

I appreciate that you are working with the cemetery to update the memorials. I will gladly update any memorial that you send information about and will credit you with providing the information.

Carole,
You're only the second time I've transferred a close relative to someone else. Please take care of Uncle Lawrence. His wife, Aunt Agnes, is one of the people that got me started into genealogy. She was our family historian before she passed. Unfortunately, I never got any good pictures of him and he passed away before I got a good camera. Are you related to the family?
John

Corrections
I made some of the corrections that you requested on Sept 10. I did not make all that you had requested as I do not believe some were repeats. There were some that you stated were repeats, however, the stones were different. (They appeared different, not just aged.) For those ones, I did not delete. There are times where there are multiple people with the same names in the same cemetery.

The other duplicates that were made were unintentional. I have no relatives in Wales in which I would feel like I have to "own" them. Most likely I entered a few without checking to see if they were already listed. I do that every now and then without meaning to :) I also sometimes press the enter button a second time without meaning to which makes duplicates of a same person. I try to catch them, but some do escape me :)

There is one that you state was not buried there. There was a stone and I recorded it. Just because there is not a record of them being buried there does not mean that they weren't. There is a large cemetery in Erie that I have stones for that they do not have a record of. Maybe the record was lost or destroyed or not recorded correctly. Anyway, I am not removing that memorial either because there was a stone. If you find they were buried in a different cemetery and can prove it is them, I will be more than happy to remove the memorial. Until then I will not.

I have no issue giving memorials to others as long as I'm not related.

Mickle-Mickel-Peck-Blakeslee
Hi Carole
A Ron Lewis and I are trying to piece together
Phillip Simeon Mickel-Mickle and wife Betsy Peck of Bloomfield Twp., Crawford Co., PA., Henderson Co., IL., Ionia Co., MI., Hickory, Carroll Co., AR., back to Sebewa Twp. Ionia Co., MI.
Need info on "Betsy" Elizabeth Peck who were her parents?
On 1850 Federal Census Bloomfield Twp., Crawford Co., PA. next to Phillip S. Mickle on census is Elkanah Blakeslee. On line 39 his son Merritt Blakeslee father of Robert Elkanah Blakeslee that marries Mary-Mayme-Mame Briggs who had formerly been married to Phillip Jack Mickle son of Henry Mickle and Sarah L. McFadden, grandson of Phillip Simon Mickle and Betsey Peck.
Please see Find A Grave Phillip Simeon "Sim" Mickel-Mickle
# 85109480.
Phillip Jack Mickle #83813041 was first married to my great aunt Olie-Olive May Foster 1882 Ionia, MI. Divorced. 2/w Mayme Briggs d/o Levi S. Briggs and Laura Lavenia Venen. They divorce and then she marries above Robert E. Blakeslee.
Would like to hear from you. I think we have corresponded in past but neither could find the connection. I think we have it now.

RE: My Walkers
OK!!!
:)
Trying to decipher old letters....
Herbert and Jesse are a match....2 other infants that died in or before 1900...but I honestly cannot even guess at names, only that Alice had lost 4 or her 5...
I thought one was Herrot C...Herbert C matches for birth and death! Jesse W matches up with what I thought was Tesse N (boy) so I now have correct spellings!
We often decipher old letters "by committee" but sometimes give up and leave for another time....we treasure these old letters, but they can be very challenging!
So THANK YOU!!!!
:)
Herbert: Find A Grave Memorial# 115402010
Jesse: Find A Grave Memorial# 115401467
Again, my thanks and my families thanks!

Thank you so much for trying to locate his grave!
:)
If I can get a plot number I will send it to you.
I am not having much luck with getting responses from cemeteries
:*(
Have a 15 year old at home still, so I am not able to track these down myself (with the exception of those local to me)
Again, thank you

Dear Carole: I cannot thank you enough for your photos of headstones at Northeast Cemetery. I was amazed when I checked your memorials you added to findagrave and found extensive family members that you have added. I have found some that I had no idea where they were buried and if they had headstones. I am extremely grateful for your additions. I have been researching my tree for several years now, and what a find. Thanks again, Charlene Davis Hall
