William Winstone
Thank you for posting this picture of William Winstone's gravesite on Find A Grave. William is my 3rd Grt Grandfather. And, Mary Kelig my 3rd Great Grandmother. Now that I know where this cemetery is, my husband and I will plan a visit there. If Fannie is your relative, then we are related by marriage. Feel free to contact me if you have any history as to where they lived and is the house still standing , etc. Thank you once again.

Calvary
You've put in request(s) at Calvary in Cleveland. Several of us are working to clear the more than 730 requests. With 400,000 burials and 300 acres, if you could please obtain plot information AND a plot map one of us will be more likely to be able to fill the request, as the office will only give out a little information to each person. The office phone number is (216) 641-7575. On my page I have the plot maps listed that we already have.

You can try to tell them you'll be visiting when they're closed, etc. So far everyone who's called has been successful in having a map mailed. If you get one let me know and I'll give you my e-mail address. With thousands of graves per section a plot map would be VERY helpful. Without plot information it's basically impossible.

Thanks!

RE: loomis
HI Dennis, No I am not related to Ford D Loomis. I have a very extensive book on the Loomis genealogy, and our lines don't meet until going back to the late 1600's. Most Loomis's descend from the immigrant ,Joseph Loomis who came from Essex, England in 1630. So we are probably very distant "cousins".

RE: lyda kibler root
My pleasure. I also found that Dagmar and Burdette Root are buried very close by. I imaged the proximity of their graves on Dagmar and Burdette's memorials. You might check out whether there is a connection to Lyda.

Dennis,
You are so welcome. I'm glad I could help. Yes, I had fun taking the photo. I just love going to Crown Hill searching for people's requests. I usually take my dogs and they enjoy it too! Have a great evening.

Falligant's in Laurel Grove
I added a photo of Lot 93 for now since the request for Phillip Falligant is about to expire and I have to figure out who a few of the barely legible stones belong to.

Charles Kibler
Stone is in very good shape for it's age. About one third in this cemetery are totally eroded.
Charles age is shown as two years and four months. Parents names are on the stone but difficult to make out.
I didn't notice any other Kiblers there.

RE: MORGANS
Dennis,

I cannot claim any photos for the "Morgan boys"
My dad Russell Lermond Morgan was cremated and does not have a headstone, and my uncle Paul Winthrop Morgan does have a memorial, which I will add shortly along with my grandfather, Herbert Morgan, and my grandmother Olive Morgan. All stones are in Thomaston, Maine Village Cemetery.
