Does the cemetery have any records of who the owner of this Plot: Section: 8 Lot: 89 Grave: 1 was? Must have had a pretty large grave plot as all six are listed being buried in the same grave. I could see maybe six cremations urns in one plot, but six actual coffins, even small children, would be too many for one grave plot.

Hi KBStewart,
Just wanted to say THANK YOU again for the transfer of my Great Aunt Nora. I promise to take very good care of her, as she did of me in life. She was a sweetheart. You're most kind and VERY appreciated.
May the LORD bless and keep you. Stay safe.

Margaret Allingham et al
You have my sincere thanks for the myriad of links and edits I sent you regarding the Allingham Family graves that you have documented. This helps pull together one of the earliest Irish Allingham families to settle in Pittsburgh. Thank you for "finding" these graves and enabling us to honor their legacy.
Best regards,

This is Charles Cox, my gr gr grandfather. Will you please transfer management to me? Also, I do have his death certificate. But that is all we know, that he was buried in Allegheny Cemetery. What source did you transcribe this info? I want to see if any of his relatives are buried nearby. Thanks! markfhardy@yahoo.com

Allan Wenzel
RE: Peter Van Clief
Hi distant cousin,

I'm a Van Cleave too. Same family. In fact I've researched the family for about 50 years and written several volumes on the entire family: Van Cleve/Cleave/Cleef/Clief/Cleaf.

I wish I had better photos. Unfortunately I don't. These you see were sent to me by the Washington County, Ohio County Clerk back in the 1980's. I was doing research on the family and he felt these were better with me than kept among his records, which would probably be tossed some day. He informed me at the time that the property owner at that time could care less about the graves and allowed his cows to tear down the fencing and destroy the headstones...and no one could persuade him to safe-guard the graves. I have no idea if they exist now or not. So we have what we have and probably lucky to have them at all. I do have what is written on each headstone. I'll scan and send it to you tomorrow. Send me your email and I'll send it directly.

Also, your Richard's original name is Dirk...Dutch for Richard.
