Hello,
This is my gg grandfather. I wondered if you have actually observed the tombstone? Would it be possible to obtain a photograph of it?

Thank you,

I don't hink so. You can go to http://www.military.com/benefits
and see. I think their is a phone number you can call. But I would start here. If you are near a military base, you could check with them.

RE: Dean Bilyeu
If he was in the Navy, he should be authorized a military stone. The family needs to check with the funeral home.

RE: Gerald Dean Bilyeu Obt.
I will keep looking. If I can catch someone in the office, they can tell me where the grave is.

There are several Bilyeu families in this cemetery.

Caroline
Laura Minton
I found a marker for a Laura Minton (buried with Tilden); the birth year matched (1890) but this marker said she was buried in 1962. Is this the same Laura Minton you are looking for?

Caroline
Mount Pleasant Minton family
I went back up to the Mount Pleasant cemetary and was unable to find a Marcus Minton, husband of Josephine. I did, however, find S.T Minton buried with his wife Josephine and the dates you requested for Marcus (1919-1981) matched. He also served in the armed forces. Could they be one and the same?

Blue Family
I have been to Cookville several times as my brother lives there and at one time I was doing cave exploring. Had to give that up as I got older. lol

I have a little information on the Bilyieu but not to much. There is some information on Ancestry.com that my cousin posted. He and I only shared the grandmother as she was married to a Boggs before she married my GGGrandfather. Have a great day and if I can be of further help please let me know.

Glad I was able to help. My Grandfather's grandmothers name was Bilyieu and sometimes spelled Blue or Billow. She was born in Lewis Co. Kentucky and I was wondering about your name Blue?

Hello and thanks for your message. Sorry it has taken a little while to write back. I am sorry to hear about your fiance and baby. It must have been really hard to deal with. I hope you are doing ok.
I can't add your name under the photo, because I didn't upload it. Did you upload it? If so, what you should do is remove it and then upload it again and I think it should give you a box to write a caption.
I will transfer the memorial over to you so that you will have ownership of it. You can then change his bio around and write what you want it to say.
