Charlie & Sadie Butler
Glenda, thank you so much for the transfer of
Aunt Sadie and Uncle Charlie. I remember Aunt Sadie especially because for several years I Picked her up at least 4 times a week and took her to church. She was a real character and a lot of fun.

Madeline B
Laurentia V. (Hazelton) Stone
Hi Glenda,
I was glad to find your cemetery record on FIND A GRAVE for Laurentia Stone in Pine Grove Cemetery in Douglas, Mass. But I'm quite sure she is not a daughter of Theodore Stone. She is the widow of Edward F. Stone, who is a son of Theodore & Sally Stone of Douglas. His birth is recorded as 30 July 1815, and he is also buried in Pine Grove Cemetery. They had a marriage intention recorded Aug. 5, 1837 in Douglas. She is Laurentia V. Hazelton of Woonsocket, RI. She is the daughter of Peter Hazelton and Huldah Whitcomb, and her birth was 26 April 1815 in Townshend, VT. In the 1850 census, she and her husband are found living in Norwich, New London, CT. They have no children, and he is employed as an Overseer at an Ax Factory. He died in 1856 of consumption. Laurentia had siblings living in Rhode Island, and on 15 March 1859, she married Abishai Bailey in Providence, RI. He was also originally from Townshend, VT, and his 1st wife, Maria Austin, had died in 1856. He lived in Saratoga Springs, NY. She died in June 1959, just 3 months after they got married. Her death is recorded as June 1859 of heart disease in the 1860 Mortality Schedule for Saratoga Springs. She was thus buried, not with her current husband, but with her first husband in Douglas, MA.

Jamie Lea
st denis cemetery
Hi glenda,

My name is Jamie and I saw a posting from you from St Denis Cemetery. The woman Marguerite Lamontagne Tousignant. She is my ggg grandmother. You posted a pic of her grave. I was wondering if you could give me some directions so that I could find it in the cemetery when we visit. Also I was wondering if you knew anything of other relatives that may be in the same cemetery. I am also looking for her parents. I have absolutely no information on them at all and I would love to have it so that I can continue my ancestry search of her family. Any additional information that you can give me would be much appreciated.

Cornelius Conklin (#27304123)
Hi Glenda. I was doing some research on the Conklin family and noticed from "West Copake Reformed Church Cemetery" compiled by Minnie Cohen in September 1938 (on the Columbia Co. GenWeb site) that her transcription of Cornelius's gravestone was that he d. Jan 16, 1813, age 68 y 8 m. You have that he d. Apr 9, 1813. Any thoughts? I see from your photograph that his gravestone is now overturned. Thanks for all your work! Michael.

Hi Glenda,
You have an error on the Margaret M Metcalf memorial 50986173. There is a child listed for her by the name of Freddie. She was born and died the same year and could not have had any children.

I requested a photograph of this tombstone and the photographer is having difficulty locating the grave. He did find Ariel's father's grave. Find A Grave Memorial# 38073151
The following comment appeared on that memorial:
Note: Original stone is no longer readable; the front facing has all fallen off. Do you remember if Ariel's grave had a tombstone and whether it was readable. Thank you.

George F. Rawson
Hi Glenda,

I saw where you had entered George F. Rawson. George F. Rawson is my Great Grandfather. He was married to Emelina LeGere. They had two daughters. One of those daughter's name was Marie F. Rawson. She had a son, George F. Sprague. George F. Sprague was my Father.

I know that George F. Rawson was murdered on 12/25/08.

I don't know if you have any further information on him or not.

I am planning a trip to Boston leaving this coming Thursday, Nov. 29 and will be there until Sunday Dec.2nd. I am planning on visiting his grave. If you have any further information on him it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Gail Sprague Martinez

Monterey Cemetery
Glenda, you kindly did a listing in 2009 for my great-great-great-great grandmother, Elizabeth Caywood, in the Monterey Cemetery, Schuyler County, New York. It's a needle-in-a-haystack question to ask if you recall a gravestone, so I will simply ask if the condition of the stones in that cemetery were generally readable or were they deteriorating badly? I'm hoping to see her grave in the near future.

Nettie A. Walker at Evergreen Cem
Glenda, thank you for transferring Pliney and Betsey Richardson to me. I'd like to ask a favor in that you link (I forgot I can't link her to her family)her profile to her father Pliney (50715327) & mother Betsey (50715227). I don't need you to transfer the profile, but please add that her name was Alma Annette "Nettie" Richardson, who married Henry Atis Walker on 25 Nov 1880 at Douglas, Ma. Her husband is also at Evergreen. Thanks so much, Steve Willcox

Would you mind transferring Pliny and Betsey Richardson to me (#47125556). I've recently found their daughter's headstone and her husband and children at the same cemetery. Lambert B Simmons
You took a photo of my great great grandfather's grave, Lambert B Simmons. Can you tell me what the stone says? I have searched for years for him, and to try to find his parents information, or siblings. I have some letters from him, and would like to share them with other descendants. Maybe if I know what is on this stone, other names there, or anything, it might help.
Thank you so much! Mary Kay

David Roberts
Thank you!
Pleased to find the Robert's family stone on here. I went out there myself a few years back and did a rubbing of it, Andre was my great-great-grandfather. I am likely the only living descendant who is aware of its existance. I can assume ownership if you wish.

PS, in addition to the names on the front of the stone there is one small name etched into the reverse, did you happen to catch that? I failed to photograph it when I was there, and I have forgotten it.

Yours, DR
