Joyce Conklin
Buddys Gram,

Please pardon my lack of knowledge of your name. I was just following up on my earlier question. Do you by any chance have any information about the relatives/ancestors of Joyce Conklin, born in Chicopee around 1933, passed in 2015?

Jennifer Harvey
Anna/Annie McMahon daughter of John William McMahon
Thank you for adding the photos of the gravestones for John William and the two for Anna and Annie. I would like to know if they are all together in one plot. John William McMahon and Sophia Young only had one daughter named Anna Marie. I was wondering if there were two and I didn't have the other one.

not finding markers at St. Denis

I see you have many entries and pictures from St. Denis Cemetery in Douglas. I have many relatives buried there. I have a hard time getting information from the office on where people are buried. Even though I have death certificates that say relatives are buried there, the lady at the office has told me they are not listed. Do you have any suggestions as to how to find out the location of a grave at St. Denis or the other 2 cemeteries, Douglas Center and Pine Grove?

Thanks for your help.

Possible Duplicate for #39907771 David Becker
Thanks for all the research that you do, we really appreciate it. Just wanted to make you aware of a possible duplicate memorial.

There is another David Lauson Becker under #11200455 and the dates seem to match to your David Lanson Becker. Thanks.

Cornelius Conklin (#27304123)
Hi Glenda. I was doing some research on the Conklin family and noticed from "West Copake Reformed Church Cemetery" compiled by Minnie Cohen in September 1938 (on the Columbia Co. GenWeb site) that her transcription of Cornelius's gravestone was that he d. Jan 16, 1813, age 68 y 8 m. You have that he d. Apr 9, 1813. Any thoughts? I see from your photograph that his gravestone is now overturned. Thanks for all your work! Michael.

I have a census from 1850 with Isaac, Susanna, and Ann M. (aged 25) Is she the daughter of Isaac and Susanna?

Do you know if there is a relationship between Isaac and John Decker (died 0ct 1861)? I am a descendant of John.

Do you have a higher res for # 45615611?
Hi Glenda,
I just discovered a family link to this person and was hoping you had a higher res photo as the two that are shown are nearly unreadable.
I can make out Michala and I'm assuming he is buried with his wife Mary as there seems to another name there?

Could I trouble you to email it to me?
I've added you as a friend which I guess will allow you to email me easier?
Thanks so much!

RE: Isaac Decker
By the way, I have a higher res version of the Isaac Decker stone. If you want a copy, send me your email address and I'll send it to you. Also, I just went through my remaining Decker photos from Copake, and found an Anna Mariah Decker, b. ca 1825, d Aug 24, 1853, ae 28 y 6 m 24 d. I looked her up and found her in 1850 living with what may be your Isaac. I have no idea who she is, but let me know if you want a copy of her picture. I just submitted the spreadsheet to findagrave, so she should show up online by tomorrow. Let me know about the pictures. Susan

RE: Isaac Decker
You're more than welcome. I went up to Columbia county for a few days last fall, and took literally 100's of pictures in 3 or 4 cemeteries. I've spent most of this long miserable winter getting them online. I still have about 400 from Copake that I haven't done yet. I have 2 I worked on last night of Deckers who aren't on any listing I've ever found anywhere, including Minnie Cohen's 1938 listing of Copake. They're both Abrahams, one who died Apr. 6, 1797, ae 24, another was was born Jan. or Jun. 1737, looks to have died July 2, 181?. Can't read the last digit. These are great stones, old slate and hand carved, and still quite legible. I should have them online by the weekend, so you might want to take another look next week. I've also done a lot of Deckers in the Gallatinville (Vedder) and Ancram Union cemeteries, so you may find some dead relatives there. God, I love dead relatives, you don't even have to send them Christmas cards. I haven't done Niver cemetery yet, but that's got a pretty good listing online already. Susan

Cassista Family
Cassista Family
Hi Glenda,

My name is Sandy Cassista-Beaulieu and I have been researching the Cassista name since 2003. With your help I have found some dates that I was missing and I want to Thank You for that.

But when I was going through the list of names I noticed that you had Adelard Cassista 1905-1992 wife Emma Guyan listed as the son of Simeon Cassista 1877-1930. This would be incorrect. Adelards parents are Edgar Cassista 1884-? and Sylvia Poirier 1883-1970.

I would hate to confuse some people. But once again I want to thank you for adding this information. It sure has helped me answer some questions that I did not have.

Deborah Compton-Sutton
Hello, My name is Deborah Compton Sutton and I am in search of information about the family of Hezekiah and Margaret Compton. They are my gg grandparents. I can not find information on the daughter, Adelia Ann. She had a son, my grandfather, Charles Denton Compton. Charley, as he was called was born under his mothers maiden name and was ? I believe primairly rasied by his grandmother Margaret. By 1883, she purchased land in Wisconsin and later moved on to South Dakota with Charley and his wife, Nora.
(that was a mouthfull) I would appreciate any information you might have,as I saw you had placed a flower on Abrams grave and had given numbers to the other Comptons.
Thank you in advance for any help you might have.
My Best, Debbie:
