Fawcett family material
I've found some material on the Fawcett family to share with you - please contact me via my email address shown on my profile page as I don't know your current email address.

There are obituaries that I can look up to add to some of my memorials, but due to icy conditions here in SE Iowa I may or may not get to the library today to look them up on microfilm, but will do so as soon as I can. I don't want to slip on the ice and get hurt!

May I use your photos for my family tree? I see you have several pictures of the David Nelson line. I am related to the Nelsons through John's son William. Thank you for the work you do.

Virginia Armstrong Weldon
After her passing, she became my mother in law for a time. I would be honored to have her transferred to me for continued care here.

Thank you for considering. ... Donna

RE: Memorial #126371664
I did have the photo and have loaded it to the memorial. I do not have one of the Erickson baby, though.

RE: Memorial #126371664
I deleted the incorrect photo. Glad you caught the error. I will check my disc soon - I did photograph all the stones, but it is possible that I missed it. Will let you know either way.
Thank you

German genealogy
Actually the Grothe's I've researched are German. The spelling has changed a bit and sometimes the "e" is dropped.. By any chance do you have family in Nebraska and Indiana?

Added by IamMe on Sep 25, 2016 8:03 PM

You mentioned you will specialize in Norwegian genealogy, Are you by any chance related to the Grothe family in Nebraska? I know there is German ancestry there but also believe some Scandinavian countries as well.

Hi Pamela, Thank you for the note. I wanted to add thoughtful information for all the victims from Marin. I'm still hoping to get a photo of the memorial at the flag pole at San Marin High for Jack. Must of been heart-breaking to hear of your class-mates death in the attack. *:( Take care. C.

William Garfield Scott-Find A Grave Memorial# 97393777

A Correction:William Garfield Scott is buried next to May P. Scott-his spouse-she is the same was Dorothy M. Scott-His wife's maiden name was Dorothy May Pollard-so May P. Scott means Dorothy May Pollard Scott.

Marguerite Norstog
You had added a memorial 125858302 for Marguerite Imrie Norstog, and linked her sister and parents. However those links no longer work and I am unable to find them while searching for the name in Find A Grave. Do you happen to know more about their memorials. Elizabeth, Marguerite's sister, married a Crotinger, and I am related to that line (but distantly). Thanks for your help and volunteer efforts. Gary

Mckenzie ND
Do you have the name of a person in Mckenzie Co North Dakota who has done a lot of genealogy in that area? Most difficult area to research.

Ethel Mathilda Campbell
Ethel Mathilda Campbell Rutz & Albert Rutz are buried in Schafer Cemetery. I have not been able to find their marriage certificate which was abt 1906. There oldest son Walter W. Rutz born 1907 Mckenzie Co ND, was on a document. Any help on Ethel, was she related to other Campbell's buried in Sxhafer Cem? I had no luck at the court house, or Ancestry. Stumped on who she was.

Scotty Joe Steelman
Hi Pam Long time no chat,
I filled a photo request for one of your memorials for this member, (Heather Wylie #48013242). But since YOUR dates and the graves aren't even close, I sent her this message after filling it. Maybe between you and her you can shed some light on it.
"According to the cemetery records there is only ONE Scotty Steelman buried in Schafer Cemetery and the dates are waaaay off from the ones on the Find A Grave memorial.
However I did add the photo of the marker I found. If you find the photo does not belong, just let me know and I will remove it. If there had been two in the cemetery records I would have just made a second memorial but since there was only one, I just added it to the memorial and I'll let you guys figure it out." LOL
