RE: Herback, Gavilan Hills Cemetery.
Hi Al!

Thanks so much for your note ....the cemetery had the sprinklers on during the time I stopped by and the ground was soggy in that area. Being the stone rests a little below the ground, water had pooled there, causing mud to wash over the stone ... cleaned it as well as could be before the sprinkler came around again! Let me know if you would like me to retake another photo when it's not wet.

Best Wishes,
Sharon, 47770935

RE: Mary Cupal marker. Gavilan Hills Cemetery.
the plot is in the very left corner of the [non]
catholic section
between the 4th and 5th tall trees from the very back corner heading toward the main entrance
it appears that someone visits because there were somewhat newer plastic flowers there and the stone
was just like the photo when i got there.
hope this is helpful. Ron

Cedar Hill
Hi! I noticed you have outstanding photo requests for Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland Maryland. I am preparing for a trip there Sept 8th and I'm planning on trying to fulfill as many of these as I can. Since this cemetery is so large (about 80,000 graves) it would help to have the section and plots of the burials. I have spoken to a lady at the cemetery named Carmelita Walker. She said she can't give the locations of these sites to me since they are not related to me but she said if you could give her a call at 301-568-5400 and tell her that you are a relative (or think you may be!) she can give it to you. She said there is no charge for her to look up this information. Once we have this information it will be sooo much easier to find the grave and photograph it. If you are no longer interested in fulfilling the request for whatever reason, just let me know too so I can cross it off my list. Thanks!

Ann Koch
RE: Rohsnagel-Sattlemeir family history
Yes, Eugen is their son. It took me a while to find his death recordm which I just now added to his record. From the spelling errors on that death record of the various surnames, you can understand how difficult it might have been for the person recording the information to get those names written down correctly, especially if the family members might have spoken what we now sometimes call "broken English".

I posted death records to most of the other Rohsnagels buried at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in case that information would be helpful to you. Ann

Owen Surname at Eldred Cemetery
Hi again ~
The Gertrude Barber transcript of 1930 lists the following Owen folk buried here:

OWEN, William E., d. 29 Jun 1920, ae 63 yrs

Harriet Maria, dau. of William & Almeda C., d. 3 Sep 1848, ae 2 y, 8 m, 4 d
Nancy E., wife of John D., d. 25 Dec 1868, ae 31 y, 5 m, 8 d (headstone broken in half)
Elizabeth, wife of Morgan, d. 15 Dec 1859, ae 58 yrs (transferred to you)

OWEN, Betsey Ann, dau. of George W. & Anna OWEN, d. 24 Feb 1848, ae 4 m, 7 d

Sections of this cemetery are quite old with uninscribed natural stone markers. Ms Barber's work is quite helpful for the most part but she may have missed someone!

Her transcript can be found here:

Correction: the marker is in Calvary Cemetery & Mausoleum in St. Louis, not La Salle. My mistake. Julie

Charles & Margaret
Hello, my name is Julie. Charles Walter Firman and Margaret are my maternal grand aunt & uncle. Could you possibly create a family link for these two memorials? Margaret's memorial number is 35687220. They have a joint grave marker in Calvary Cemetery at La Salle Institute in St. Louis, Missouri. Thank you for creating this memorial!

Holy Cross Cemetery Request
There was two Mary's with this last name located at Holy Cross. Both from Barberton? One died in 1965 the other died in 1977. The 1977 Mary is not marked and is in Sec 19 Lot 192. The 1965 Mary is marked in Sec 29 Lot 341. Do you know what Mary's husbands name was? The marked Mary is buried with a husband. Let me know.

RE: David M. Jaszewski photo, Gilroy
Not a high-end camera - I would call it a middle-of-the-road model. It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28. Bought it a few years ago primarily for birding and have been very happy with it.

As previously advised, there is no mausoleum at Cedar Hill. You indicated to another findagraver that you found him in Ukiah, Calif. Can you possibly remove him from the photo requests for Cedar Hill? Thanks, Larry
