More on Janet
Forgot, be sure the memorial you wish to keep is in the "real" cemetery when you're done.

RE: Janet Camerson
Here's what I was told when I tried to enter a new memorial in that cemetery and couldn't understand which to use. The first one with 4 internments is a duplicate which must/ will be deleted by the administration. Anything in there when that happens will be merged or deleted.

The other "two" cemeteries are indeed one but because of the cemetery's name people were confused and entering duplicates. Because they are linked, people may enter in either and the memorial will show up under either cemetery name automatically but still be 1 memorial in 1 cemetery.

Find A Grave only allows 1 memorial/person in Find A Grave not 1/cemetery. If you and Jennifer can come to an agreement as to who will manage the memorial, transfer it to that person. Then you can put the photos and all info on that one in a way that pleases you both. Then you delete the others. FYI, only the person who added a photo can remove it and only the original creator can delete a memorial.

You and Jennifer obviously care for Janet very much and I thought it would be sad to lose Jennifer's effort without giving you both a chance to work on it.

Best wishes to you both. Judi
PS, don't know anything about the other dupes, etc. I suspect they will be handled eventually.

Alfred Earl Glisson
I see I have transferred him to you, what I want is your email address so I can send some more infomation to you. I didn't want it to be public. In contains information from a person in Maryland who says that he is her Grandfather. She is sister to Findagrave # 27812064, which is buried next to Alfred. You may know each other or not. My email is on my profile.

RE: Facebook
If you are referring to David Earl , yes I have sat down with him on 2 occassions when he was living in Starke and traded info. He was somewhat helpful and I enjoyed talking with him. Sorry to hear about his wife though. I know Steve fairly well too. Yes I am on Facebook. I hope to get back into tracing this and my Tillis line in more depth come January.

RE: Woodards
Sallie E. Woodard (1852-1906) was her name. She was David Davis' sister.According to my Grandfather, to his knowledge she never married. There was some mystery concerning her and my grandfather's mother ( Sallie's daughter) would never speak of it. 2 stories float around about her but i cant verify either one. I found a Sarah woodard in one of the Census records that would match her age but so far thats the only hint of anyone matching her age. She is buried in an unmarked grave next to her and Davids parents ( who are also buried in unmarked graves) in Kingsley Lake cemetery.

RE: Woodards
I have traced the woodards back to about 1850-1860 Ga. then hit a roadblock. I hope to go in person and do research at the local courthouse some time next year. if you stumble across any info on Sallie I would greatly appreciate it. i'm afraid that Sallie e. was a nickname and her real name was Sara (Sarah) . Nothing concrete on that though . Thanks again..Paul

RE: Woodards
Sorry it has taken me so long to respond but I have been out of state for the last 3 years. i am back now and hope to be in full swing again come January. As in answer to your question, yes I am related to the Woodards. My Great Great Grandmother was Sallie woodard ( David Davis' sister ) I have a charcoal portrait of her thats very old. Lots of mystery surrounding her , thats what got me started in genealogy was trying to find ut more about her. I had planned on keeping the Woodards and Tillis' but since you are closer in relation to him than I am I'll transfer him to you. Thats why his burial is so close to the Tillis' in the cemetery because of the close relationship. I also have a handdrawn map od the Woodard plots and plan to erect a stone for Sallie. I live in Lake Butler so please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests and again I'm sorry for the delay.

Jim Varney
Dear Patricia,
My name is Jonathan Funnell. I'm 18 years old and I live in Zephyrhills Florida. I'm a big fan of the late Jim Varney who I understand that you were cousins with. Jim always bought a smile to my face and still does to this very day. I loved his performance as Ernest, Jed Clampett in Beverly Hillbillies, and the voice of Slinky Dog in Toy Story. I loved it in Toy Story when the moving van was pulling away and they stretched Slinky out to grab Woody and Buzz! I just died laughing at that scene! I also liked it in Ernest Scared Stupid when Ernest was working on the garbage truck and everything was going wrong and Ernest screamed Rimshot! Rimshot help me boy! I just died laughing at that scene too! Patricia could you share some of your memories of Jim? I'd love to hear memories about him! Jim was a wonderful actor and comedian who'll always be in my heart forever! My prayers go out to you, Jim, and the rest of his family!
Sincerely
Jonathan Funnell.

JPRAncestry
Thanks
Hey, thanks for the welcoming message. I was hooked on Ancestry from the start, and I found Find-A-Grave and some other sites - RootsWeb... USGen (something like that) shortly after I started. I also began to read some books about the history of Charleston and Florida, where most of my immediate family history took place. However, I had to put my interest aside for a short bit, since I'm in between gigs right now. I want to get back into it, though. Eventually, I will. Thanks again for saying hello, and maybe we'll connect again somehow.

RE: Emma Pearce
Take a look at Pearce Cemetery in San Antonio, Florida. To get to that cemetery I had to go through a cow pasture and climb through a barb wire fence. Myler Pearce at New Zion husband is buried there.
